22 22: Matches (II)

Sorry for the late upload...
I was feeling a bit under the weather... Well, not a bit. I was badly ill.
I'm feeling better now, so here you go.

"Begin!"
As Todoroki summons a road of ice, Midoriya flicks his fingers, destroying both the ice and his finger.
"THEY'RE OFF TO A FLASHY START!!!"
Todoroki summons yet another road of ice, but Midoriya counters it again, injuring another finger.
Midoriya finally injures all of his right hand's fingers after a barrage of ice attacks from Todoroki,
"IT LOOKS LIKE TODOROKI IS CLOSING IN WITHOUT EVEN FLINCHING AT MIDORIYA'S POWER!!!" commented Present Mic as Todoroki ran up a ramp of ice, jumping and once he lands, summons a small glacier towards Midoriya.
Due to desperation, Midoriya activates his quirk, punches the glacier, fully injuring his whole right arm.
"TODOROKI IS CONTINUING HIS OVERWHELMING OFFENSE! IT LOOKS LIKE THIS NEXT ATTACK WILL BE THE FINISHING BLOW-"
"Where are you looking at!?" shouted Midoriya as he uses his already broken finger to attack his opponent.
...
"Are you serious?..." said Todoroki with a shocked face.
'He did it with his already broken fingers...!'
"Why are you going this far..."
"You're shivering, Todoroki-kun." said Midoriya in a cracked voice, clearly hinting that he's in extreme pain.
"Quirks are just another one of our physical functions, so there's a limit to how much you can tolerate your own generated cold, isn't there?..." he continued.
"You could easily solve that problem yourself by using your left side, am I wrong!? Everyone's giving everything they've got..! Yet you think you can beat me using only half your power!"
"Look at me, Todoroki-kun. You haven't been able to put a single scratch on me yet. So give it your all and fight me!!!" shouted Midoriya.
"Did 'that guy' put you up to this...? Now, you're just pissing me off, Midoriya."
...
In a fit of anger, Todoroki tries to punch Midoriya, but his opponent ducks, and with his right arm, punches Todoroki in the stomach.
Todoroki flies back a few meters as Midoriya's hand spouts blood.
...
When Todoroki sends out ice, Midoriya tries to clench his fist, but can't so he uses his mouth to flick his thumb.
...
"What is driving you so far...?" asked Todoroki in an annoyed tone.
"I... Want to live up to the expectations that are placed on me! So give it your all, Todoroki!!!"
"I will never use 'his' po-" the boy responds but gets cut off by Midoriya.
"IT'S NOT HIS! IT'S NOT YOUR MOM'S. IT'S YOURS! IT'S YOUR POWER!!!"
...
Something snaps inside the boy and an ocean of fire erupts.
"Going out of your way to help an enemy... You're an idiot, Midoriya..." remarked Todoroki with a smile.
...
"SHOTOUU!!! HAVE YOU FINALLY ACCEPTED MY POWER!?? GOOD! THIS IS YOUR TRUE BEGINNING!!!" shouted a flaming man.
"Endeavor with the sudden pep talk... Must be quite the doting dad!" commented Present Mic.
...
"I don't care what happens next..."
"Midnight...!" called out Cementoss as he formed walls between the contestants and she rips a part of her costume.
Todoroki summons a huge glacier and Midoriya jumps close.
But Todoroki changes things up as fire exploded from his left side. Midoriya raises his arm, activating his quirk.
What followed that exchange was a thundering boom as both cold and hot air scattered across the stadium.
"SUCH A POWERFUL EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE STUDENTS!!! NOW, WHO WON THIS MATCH?!!"
As the dust settled, they see Midoriya leaning on the wall, knocked out, while Todoroki managed to stay on the broken stage.
"MIDORIYA IS OUT OF BOUND! TODOROKI ADVANCES TO THE NEXT ROUND!!!"
The crowd cheered and bellowed at the conclusion of the match.
A mixture of awe and pity was conveyed by the spectators. Awe at the sheer power both the contestants displayed and pity at the sight of Midoriya.
...
"Man! What a fight!!!" exclaimed Kirishima.
"Yes. It was a very good match, but Midoriya-san suffered some pretty serious injuries from the looks of it." replied Shoji and while many agreed, some just looked on with a calm look on their faces.
"FOLKS, WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A BREAK!... They really did damage on the stage, huh..."
"I should probably get going..." said Akira.
"Right! Good luck, Akira-san/Takumi-san!" said almost everyone.
...
After repairing the stage...
"THANK YOU FOR BEING PATIENT, EVERYONE! WE'RE BACK FOR THE SECOND MATCH OF THE SEMI-FINALS!!!"
"THIS TIME IT'S TETSUTETSU TETSUTETSU, VERSUS, AKIRA TAKUMI!!!" introduced Present Mic as the crowd cheers.
...
"Are both of you ready?" asked Midnight.
"Yes, Midnight-sensei." replied Akira, and Tetsutetsu nods as he remembers the advice his friends gave him.
...
"Tetsutetsu-san, I think his quirk needs physical contact... So keep your distance." said an orange-haired student.
"YEAH! And hit him where it hurts, you know what I mean?" added a blonde-haired student while winking and pointing downwards.
"Thank you for the advice, Kendo-san. And Monoma-san, I won't be doing that! That's not a very honorable action!" replied Tetsutetsu.
"Che. You and your honor. He's a Class A bastard! He doesn't deserve your honor!!!" retorted Monoma, but Tetsutetsu and Kendo just sigh at his antics.
...
"All right. Then, you may begin!" exclaimed Midnight.

What did you think of the chapter?
This chapter was basically just like the fight in the show. And I'm sorry for that. I'm really exhausted. I think... I don't know how to describe what I'm feeling but my body feels heavy and my mind feels... cloudy? Fuzzy? I don't know. Maybe I'm just mentally exhausted. Sigh. Anyways... Thank you for reading.
