He roamed through the streets of Mustafu, exhausted, tired, but with a determination in his eyes that wasn't there before. Now he had power, power to do something in this world and make a change, and he would correct the wrongs buried deep in this world.

But first he needed some sleep.

He clung to the light like a firefly, sticking closely to lampposts and lit up buildings across the streets, Akira didn't want a repeat of before. Outside of a few harmless drunks and some nightly commuters, he didn't find too many people. He had seen a couple of heroes, and some part of him was tempted to go to a hero and tell his story, but deep in his mind he knew it was just his weak side talking.

It had done it before, telling him to run away while the man was still alive and at his mercy. He would never listen to that voice again, the one telling him to take the easy option and one that needed instant comfort and no hardships.

He soldiered on through the night, his feet lightly scraping across the floor as his eyes began to flicker. During this time, Akira kept himself awake by keeping his mind occupied from his everlasting exhaustion. He had managed to figure out how to cancel his orders from <New Order>.

It was very simple actually, and all he had to do was think about the order he had set and give the command to stop it. Once it was cancelled, the energy that wrapped around his body retracted back into his stomach.

Like Stars and Stripes, he could only have 2 orders active at a time, but that was more than enough for him. From what Akira had seen in the manga, the quirk had insane, almost limitless amounts of potential, even more than AFO and OFA. All he had to do was understand his quirk, and train it.

He eventually stopped by a decent looking hotel by the name of Starstruck. He decided it was a good place to stay for the night. Before walking in, he uttered 2 orders:

"⭐I can brainwash people ⭐"

"⭐My brainwashing is stronger on humans⭐"

After putting on the two orders, he looked at his surroundings, making sure no one was watching him and walked in. The reception was small and run down, and had one man at the counter reading his newspaper. Behind him was a rack with all the keys for the room, and a cash register resting in front of him.

'Good,' He noted, 'Only one person to brainwash.'

He couldn't be certain of the strength of his powers. Although <New Order> was strong, he hadn't trained it enough to where he was confident to be able to brainwash more than one person, even with his two orders.

"Hey mister, how much for a room?"

"Who's asking ki–"

The man's eyes turned blank, his face losing all expression. Akira smiled before adopting a thoughtful expression, tilting his head.

"Hmmm…Give me the keys to your best room."

The man nodded robotically, grabbing the keys to C3 and handing them over to Akira with no resistance. Akira twirled the keys around his finger, still deep in thought.

"I also need some money, how much money do you have in your cash register?" He inquired.

"82,000…Yen" The man answered.

Akira placed a hand on his chin, trying to find the best balance of money for him to survive. He didn't want to take all of the innocent man's money, but he had to take some. He would try and pay him back at a later stage.

"Ok then…Give me 20,000 yen please."

The man nodded, mechanically grabbing notes out of the cash register. As he picked up note after note, Akira noted something. The man was…resisting. It was subtle, but Akira noticed the way the man's hands occasionally twitched and tried to move away from the cash register.

'Shit…Even with 2 orders, I can't even brainwash an old man for over a minute.' He really needed to start training his quirk, but first he had to get out of this without being caught.

Akira rush fully grabbed the notes, scrunching them up in his pocket. He looked up, and saw that the robotic mask around the old man was slowly beginning to crack.

"Listen." Akira grabbed a bell on the desk counter, "When you hear this bell, you will forget everything that has happened here, ok? You will presume that a grown man has paid for the room for an entire year. You will also believe that you spent 20,000 Yen on hotel repairs. Do you understand?"

At the man's nod, Akira ran away, waiting until he was half way up the stairs before he rang the bell loudly. He placed the bell on the floor, swiftly running up the stairs and entering his room.

When he arrived in the room, he allowed himself a small, genuine smile upon seeing the large comfy bed positioned in the centre of the room. Using the last of his energy, he leaped onto the bed, finally allowing his body and mind to rest.

Akira woke up the next day, feeling refreshed and ready to fight the world. All the fatigue and confusion that had built up on his first night here was now gone, and he never felt better.

He sat on the bed all morning, thinking. He finally had time to think about his situation, and how he had ended up in the world of My Hero Academia. He thought back to his previous world, one where he was a model student studying to become an engineer because of his parents wishes.

He hated his life that was constantly determined by his parents choices, and he felt sick of it, that's the reason in the first place he got into anime, it was an escape from his unenjoyable life. Now he was gone from that world and he was happy.

In this life, he would do what he wanted to do, and that was to become a hero. He was a good person at heart, and he had a strong quirk, so the choice was obvious. But before he could do that, he needed to do the most effective thing someone in a shonen world could do, train.

He visited the nearest convenience store, buying an assortment of foods, ranging all the way from fruits to meat to vegetables. To maximise his training results, he needed to start eating the proper foods, otherwise he wouldn't be getting the best out of his hard work.

Since his body was only 8 years old, it was limited to the very basics of exercises unless he wanted to injure himself. He needed to limit the amount of physical exercise he performed, but he didn't with his quirk.

Quirks work similar to muscles. When muscles are put under intense exercise, they are worn out and destroyed, eventually growing back stronger as a result. The same rule applies to quirk's, meaning the more you put it under intense training, the stronger it gets. Since there were no detrimental effects to training your quirk at a young age other than quirk exhaustion, Akira was free to train it within certain bounds.

If there was any doubt Akira felt over that statement, then it all vanished when he recalled the strength of Stars and Stripes. Despite having the same quirk, Akira's was like a small candle, while hers was like a raging inferno . While he could barely brainwash an old man with both of his orders, Stars and Stripes basically had the power to warp reality.

For now he would perform moderate exercise and try to get as fit as an 8 year old can, meaning his current focus should be strengthening his quirk.

He poured himself a glass of water, setting it on the side. He was going to be talking a lot and shouting many orders, quite literally. He needed to stay hydrated.
