After fulfilling his plan, Deku had to look back on the outcome of his efforts.

Gentle and La Brava were two of the only people to accept him for who he was, and helped him to become a master villain.

But after leaving them out of his true intentions of what his master plan was, the boy wouldn't be surprised if they never wanted to speak to him again.

And his mother…the way she looked at him…the sight of her trembling face… the tears falling from her eyes…

The Quirkless child buried his face in his hands. Not since the Sludge Villain incident had he felt so empty…so lost…

What was the point in continuing to be a villain, if he had already succeeded in what he set out to do?

…Maybe it was time to turn himself in?

"You saved her."

Deku was glad he dropped by Giran for a fresh pair of Taser-Knuckles, as he shot up and grabbed hold of one from his backpack, sparking it to life as he pointed it at whoever had snuck upon him.

His blood ran cold the moment he laid eyes on his invader.

Narrowed, bloodshot eyes stared him down behind an eye mask of torn, tattered cloth.

Wild, unruly black dreadlocks draped down from the top of the figure's head, wrapped in a crimson bandana.

The loose ends from the invader's bindings billowed in the breeze coming from the open window he snuck in through, giving him an unearthly aura to go along with his intimidating presence.

Dressed in a set of military-grade armour and combat gear, he looked to be armed with every sharp object you could think of on his torso, hips and boots, with a katana blade in its sheath strapped to his back.

But the one thing that stuck out the most about the invader of the boy's room, was the smell…

Blood.

The stench coming off of him in waves…

Deku nearly had to clasp a hand over his nose to stop the unholy smell from entering his nostrils anymore.

He wondered how the man could even stand his own scent.

He received an answer as he inspected the invader's face, his eyes shooting wide open as he saw, that his nose was completely gone, leaving behind what remained of his nostril orifices, making his features resemble that of a human skull.

"You saved her…from me." The invader spoke, his voice sounding as if a rusty, dull blade held against your throat could talk.

Deku felt sweat begin to pour down his face, swallowing the lump that appeared in his throat.

He was unable to take his eyes off the figure as he stepped out of the window and into his suite, fearful that if he did so, he would lose his life in a split second.

The figure stepped closer to the boy, a grimace while baring his teeth on his face as he inspected the young villain. "I know you…"

Deku did everything he could to keep himself from shaking in fear.

"I saw you on TV…" The blood-reeking presence spoke.

"You're the villain child. The one who exposed that hero student for the pain he caused you, and whom you punished. You sent that boy to the hospital…throwing the school into a frenzy to keep its reputation intact… revealing to the world how flawed their methods were…you, who threw hero society into a frenzy…"

By now, the figure was only a few inches from the green-haired youth, still holding his taser-knuckle out in a poor attempt at self-defence.

The figure raised his arm…

Deku sparked his weapon to life, ready as he could be, for whatever happened next!

…Until the man reached his hand out to the boy as if wanting to shake his hand.

Deku let go of his weapon's trigger, looking from the offered hand, back to its insane-looking owner.

The man then gave the boy a proud, yet slightly unhinged, smile. "Well done."

Deku was so bewildered by the sudden praise, that he nearly dropped his taser-knuckle.

Instead, he got ahold of himself, and attentively raised his one free hand, gently taking the intruder's and shaking it tenderly.

"Uhhh…thanks? Umm…pardon me for asking, but…who are you?"

"Apologies. I was so glad to finally meet you, that I forgot myself." The tattered man took his hand back, placing it on his chest as he introduced himself. "I…am Stain. You might have heard of me…"

Deku's blood had been running cold since the stranger had first arrived.

Now, it felt like the veins in his entire body had frozen over the instant the name left the man's dry lips.

"S-s-s-s-s-s…S-Stain…?" Deku babbled in aghast, his eyes dilated in horror. "T-t-t-The…h-Hero killer?!"

The man in tatters gave no movement or word of acknowledgement. He merely stared down at the boy, letting the revelation sink into the boy's mind, allowing a moment to grasp the situation and find his bearings.

Once Deku did, he sprung up from his bed, grabbed his second taser-knuckle from his bag, and got into a combat stance on the top of his bed, ready to defend himself.

"You can relax." Stain spoke as he turned away from the armed child.

"Relax?!" The quirkless criminal roared. "How can I relax?! You're the Hero Killer; A serial killer! How the heck could I relax?!"

"You likely know of how any heroes I've dealt with. Roughly know of, anyway…" The hero killer addressed, stopping in the middle of the room. "So, you know I'm telling the truth when I say, that if I wanted you dead…you would be."

Deku's breath caught in his throat. The boy had barely been able to keep up with public affairs, what with skipping Musutafu after the Sports Festival Incident.

But you would have to be living under a rock to not have heard about the infamous hero killer who had slain over thirty heroes and heroines already.

And going off of what he said by it 'roughly' being that number, only meant that he had killed more…and no one knew…

Deku lowered his knuckle, dread filling his chest. "…What do you want?"

"I wanted to meet you…" The hero killer stated. "To see you for myself. To find out who you are, why you do what you do, and for what purpose…"

Deku's emotions were in flux, going from panicked to partially calm in mere seconds, while in the presence of a known mass murderer. "Purpose?"

Stain was then in the boy's face, his noseless mere inches from Deku's, his stench of blood hitting the boy head-on.

"Let me ask you…" The tattered man inquired, a slight growl in his voice.

"You are a Villain; a criminal who lives outside of society's laws, and who has caused harm to many heroes. A villain, who exacted his revenge against the one who crushed your dreams, who made you feel weak and helpless all your life. Yet, in spite of it all, you came to the aid of a hero, whom I was on the cusp of erasing from this world…a hero, who most likely, won't show a shred of gratitude for your help…"

"A hero you were…" Deku stopped talking as he realized who Stain was talking about. "Madame Banquette…you were the one who…!"

"I ask of you, Deku…Izuku Midorya…" Stain continued, ignoring the boy's realization.

"If you are a criminal, why would you risk yourself, for someone sworn to bring you in? Why do good, when you are on the side of evil?"

"Why play the Hero, when you're already a Villain?"

An ill quiet filled the room. Stain remained in the boy's space, refusing to move until he received an answer.

Deku, all the while, was struggling within himself. Not only with how to deal with a serial killer in his presence, but with the question that he had been asked.

After what felt like a lifetime of pondering, the quirkless child finally spoke. "I… I don't know… I just…felt like… it was the right thing to do."

Silence.

"…He…hehehehe…hehehehahahahaha…hahahahahahaha…HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Deku's fear spiked once more, as the infamous hero killer delved into a fit of roaring, unhinged laughter.
