"Deku is most likely making last-minute preparations before telling us his plan," Gentle informed as he opened a thermos of tea and poured himself a serving.

"You have to grant him some patience, my dear. This is his first heist as a real villain, after all."

"I guess...but I still wish he'd hurry up!" The pigtailed girl complained as she waved a hand in front of her face. "This place smells like prehistoric gym socks!"

As soon as she said that, a door on the other side of the room opened up.

Deku came stumbling out, holding a large board and legs in his hands, careful not to trip over himself. "S-Sorry I'm late, everyone! I was just-Woah!-getting everything ready!"

"No need to apologise, dear boy, we were more than happy to wait!" The flamboyant thief chuckled kindly.

"Yeah, what fancypants said!" Mr Yellow bellowed, causing a tick mark to appear on the elasticity man's forehead, and having to hold back La Brava by her collar to stop her from attack the large brute.

As Deku made his way over to the collection of criminals, his smile faded a little as he took in who was here. "Well, thank you all for coming. But it looks like not everyone showed up..."

As soon as his words left him, a dark portal appeared to one side, scaring the daylights out of the Dogs and La Brava collectively.

From out of the vortex came Kurogiri, as sharply dressed and intimidating as ever. "Apologies for being late. I was held up with an important matter."

"T-That's okay, Kurogiri! I'm just glad you made it!" Deku waved with a forced smile. He honestly wasn't comfortable with having to hire one of the League of Villains for his plan, but the vortex man's quirk was too beneficial to ignore.

Besides, Kurogiri was more negotiable between him and Shigaraki. It was pretty much a 'lesser of two evils situation.

The young villain then brought a hand to his mouth and cleared his throat, gaining all of the gathered villain's attention.

"Thank you all for coming. I'm not usually one to call in a favour from others, but with what I have planned, I couldn't think of anyone else who could help me in making this happen. Before we begin, I must tell you now that this job I have in mind is going to be incredibly risky. If none of you wants to take part in it, I completely understand, and can get up and walk away right now."

"We've been wanted criminals for the past five years, Deku my boy! This changes nothing!" Gentle gave his pupil a supportive thumbs up.

"I wanna see what you've got cooked up, Deku! It's gotta be good if Gentle's this excited!" La Brava hopped with anticipation.

"It's like we said, Deku dude! Once you're part of the pack, we got your back! We ain't going nowhere!" Mr Red declared, with the rest of Team Reservoir Dogs howling in agreement.

Deku smile at the street gang's funny sense of loyalty, until he turned to Kurogiri, who took a moment before speaking.

"I am interested in what you have devised for your first endeavour, Mr Deku. And I shall offer whatever aid you wish of me, so I can repay my debt."

"Thanks, Kurogiri..." The boy looked over at all of the present people that came to help him. People that he would never be ashamed to call his friends. "Thank you all."

"Alright, alright, alright! Now that we've got all that out of the way, what's your big plan, Deku?" La Brava urged to know, hopping on her seat next to Gentle like in barely restrained eagerness. "Who are we gonna be knocking off?"

Deku revealed a wicked, maniacal grin across his face, taking nearly everyone by surprise.

"The UA Sports Festival."

Gentle dropped the cup of tea in his hands, La Brava dropping her jaw beside him.

Team Reservoir Dogs were reduced to gaping fish.

Kurogiri's glowing eyes shined a little brighter in intrigue.

"Everyone..." Deku went to his board stand and lifted the parchment, showing a title that both confused, and disturbed everyone now taking part in his plan.

"Welcome to... 'Operation: Swan-Dive'."

Fireworks popped and burst in the wide-open blue sky. Fleets of people flooded the ground of UA Academy, making their way toward an enormous white-walled, open-roofed collegium.

Snack bars and merch booths littered the outside of the large arena, as energetic music pounded in the background, getting the people all the more excited for the day's events.

"GOOD MOOOOOOOOORNING, JAPAN!" A loud, obnoxious voice boomed over the speakers.

"This is Present Mic, your favourite radio host hero, coming to you live from UA Academy's very own Sports Festival Stadium! Joining me as always is my partner in stopping-crime, and ever famous life of the party; Eraser-Head!"

"How did I let you talk me into this again?" The monotone voice of the quirk-stopper sounded out.

"Ain't he a riot, folks?!" The Voice Hero ignored the question entirely. "Looks like we got a real huge turnout this year, folks! Fans are piling into the arena as we speak, and I'm willing to bet they're all just as eager for the action to start as I am!"

Fans were piling into the school grounds in droves, leading all the way from the stadium, all the way back to the main entrance of the academy itself.

Ticket takers at the front gate scanned passes for hopeful customers eager to get in.

"We've got a great show coming up for all you happy listeners and viewers out there!" Mic continued to excite the crowd already inside the stadium, causing them to yell and shout in exhilaration.

"Our students revved up and ready to show you all what they're made of! Get ready for a clash of quirks! fight of future heroes! An unrestrained, no-holds-barred, superpowered scrap! So don't you dare turn that dial! you don't wanna miss a single piece of the action!"

A distance away from the front gate, a gaggle of dark figures stood in the shade of a stray building's shadow cast by the sun.

A mismatched pair of a tall elegant looking man, and a small pigtailed girl. A pack of masked deviants. A man who looked to be made entirely out of dark smoke...

And a young boy with wild, fuzzy dark green hair.

"Alright...Let's go."

Three days before the festival...

Deku stood before his team in the Masquerade gym, turning the large paper of his stand over to show them the first step of his plan.

"Step One: Infiltration. Gentle, La Brava and I will make our way inside the academy, and make our way to the Sports Festival stadium."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out three pieces of decorative paper. "I bought all three of us passes so we could get in."

"Wait a minute, wait a minute!" La Brava cut in.

"You bought tickets?! I thought this was supposed to be a heist! Aren't we supposed to sneak our way inside?"

"After the USJ attack, the school will be on high alert for any sign of trouble," Deku explained.

"The police and local heroes have been hired as an extra precaution to make sure nothing happens. It's not just a sports festival this time around, it's the school making a statement that they have everything under control."

"Making our way inside through natural legal terms is our best bet. Though, we're gonna have to wear disguises so we don't draw attention..." Deku noted as he rubbed his chin.

"Not to worry, my boy! I already have the perfect disguises for me and my La Brava! We'll be practically invisible!" The flamboyant thief declared.

"Oh, Gentle! You always think of everything~!" The pigtailed girl swooned as she laid her head in the man's lap, who smiled as he brushed her light red hair caringly.

"Those guys are kinda weird..." Mr Blue deduced, with the rest of the Dogs nodding in agreement.

"Honestly...I've met stranger..." Kurogiri clarified.

"Uuuuuh...Okay, great!" Deku smiled as he got back to his plan. "Once we get to the front gate, we'll need to blend into the crowd as much as we can. So, try not to do anything to make us stick out."

"Yes, sir!" The dazzling duo saluted.
