Deku could do nothing but watch as Shigaraki came racing toward him, his right hand stretched out.

Bakugo tried to tear his way out of the villain's grasp when the crack of gunfire went off. The crazed leader of the league stopped dead in his tracks, shrieking in pain as he clasped at his hand, which now sported a freshly made bullet hole.

The young villain whipped his head around and up to the main entrance where the shots came from and was glad to see his lazy attempt to stop the spectacled boy was not in vain.

"Class President of 1-A, Tenya Iida! Reporting for duty!" The super-speed boy declared as he stood at the top of the large staircase. "I have returned, and I brought help!"

That he did. The hero staff of UA academy were lined up, side by side, and were looking ready for a fight. Snipe, the quickdraw hero, had his trademark pistol drawn and was no doubt the one who put the bullet in Shigaraki's hand.

"Tarnation!" The cowboy hero quipped as he blew the smoke from his gun. "These varmints really got the drop on us!"

"What naughty boys!" Midnight licked her lips sadistically as she snapped her whip in anticipation. "Don't they know these kids aren't old enough to play rough yet?"

The villains who were on their way to Kurogiri's vortex were frozen in place, until a brave, but ignorant bunch of them decided to try and rush the recently arrived heroes.

Present Mic, the radio hero, sporting a leather jacket, a blonde backwards pompadour, and a special crafter stereo collar around his neck, stepped forward.

"YYYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Present Mic unleashed his quirk, Sonic Voice, and blew the oncoming enemies back down the stairs with his booming vocal cords.

As the villains tumbled back down the steps, Deku turned back to all the villains still around him. "We gotta go, NOW!"

None of them needed to be told twice. All the villains who knew they were outmatched ran for the portal, hopping in and disappearing into the darkness.

Shigaraki gave the bunny-eared boy a scathing look from behind his hand-mask, then walked into the vortex next. Deku backed up toward the portal next, dragging a seething Bakugo with him.

"This isn't over... you hear me?! When I find you, and I will! I'm gonna blast you into so many pieces, they'll be finding you across the whole country, for a MILLENNIUM!"

Deku looked down at the seething bomb boy, his eyes cold and calculating. "There's no need for that..."

He then leaned down, staring deep into his former tormentor's eyes. "I'll come for you. See you soon."

With that final word, Deku kicked the bomb boy away and jumped into the vortex.

As the hard-skinned and ice powered boys made their way to the fallen Katsuki, he shrugged away their helping hands as the portal began to dissipate, until it was completely gone. Like it was never there, to begin with.

The battle was over.

Chapter 9: Advanced Classes

It had been a few days since the League of Villains' attack at the USJ, and Deku was still exhausted.

After he and what was left of the League of Villains managed to escape, winding up at a dimly lit hole-in-the-wall bar, Shigaraki was livid.

He tried to take out his frustration of losing his precious monster out on him, only for the gang of villains the green hooded boy helped to defend him when the hand-man tried to go for his neck.

It came as quite a surprise to the Quirkless child when all these hardened criminals and convicts protected him from the leader of the league. He couldn't remember the last time someone had his back. Most likely because no one ever did.

It was enough to make the young villain shed a few tears.

Kurogiri was the one to calm the crazed disintegrator, claiming that Deku did all that he could to stop the super-speed student from escaping, as well as freeing him from the grasp of the explosion boy, which gave them the chance to escape.

Shigaraki, in a rare moment of rational thought, decided to just kick Deku and the rest of the villain out, declaring them all 'useless casuals who didn't deserve to be a part of his party'.

Needless to say, no one was unhappy with walking away for the short-lived League of Villains.

The vortex man opened a pathway back to the warehouse where they were all first hired. Before Deku could follow the rest of the villains out of the rustic tavern, the living cloud stopped him for a moment...

"I apologise on behalf of Shigaraki's...temperament. He still has much to learn. I also feel indebted to you for coming to my hour of need."

"If there is ever a time you believe my services would be of use, do not hesitate to contact me through Mr Giran. I would be more than happy to return the favour."

Usually, it was other criminals seeking him out for his help in their crimes. But to have someone offer to help him? It was an utterly bizarre concept to him.

Though, if Deku had to be honest, he didn't want anything to with the League again. They were far too extreme for his liking.

The young villain made a mental note to have a few words with Giran the next time they met.

Being tricked into taking part in the assassination of a worldwide icon, as well as a classroom's worth of kids was not his idea of a living.

And now, a twenty-hour nap and a hot shower later, here he was. Sat in front of his multiple computer screens, eating microwave katsudon, and checking up on the latest news.

So far, they've allied him with the League of Villains, something he was not fond of, and how he was amid the few villains that managed to escape.

"Principal Nezu, the head of the previously believed impenetrable school, has held a press conference to notify the public that they will shy away from this offence."

Daikaku Miyagi, a middle-aged anchorman with a large horn sticking out of the left side of his forehead, with a small stump on the right, spoke while the image on the screen switched to the sentient animal standing at a podium before a large gathering of reporters.

"Before I begin, I would like to publicly commend the bravery and sacrifice of not only All Might but of Eraserhead and Thirteen, who risked their very lives to protect the next generation." Nezu declared strongly.

As flashing cameras and microphones were aimed at him he said again. "We are relieved to announce that they shall both make a complete recovery, and will continue to teach the next generation of heroes, for many years to come."

Deku sagged in his chair as relief washed over him. What happened to both Eraserhead and Thirteen was a travesty. something he wouldn't wish on his worst enemy...well, almost...

"I speak on behalf of myself and the rest of my staff, that we refuse to let this League of Villains intimidate us into stopping what we are doing at this school." The sentient creature declared.

"That being said, I am happy to announce that the UA sports festival shall continue to be held within the next two weeks!"

As the media erupted into a tirade of questions, badgering the intelligent animal for more information, Deku stared at the screen in astonishment.
