Chapter 51

With Overhaul knocked out and the shock of seeing Axel defeating Overhaul in such a manner over, they arrested all the villains.

" You really let yourself loose. " Rotate said as he spoke to Axel. He knew Axel was powerful but this went over his expectations, especially in terms of how Axel basically held no mercy when destroying Overhaul.

" Yeah. " Axel said as he looked at Rotate. In truth, he felt absolutely nothing. He didn't feel regret in what he did and just waited for Rotate to speak.

" Did you cut off his limbs because he could heal? " Rotate asked. After all, if Axel just went around cutting off parts of the villain's bodies, most of them might die from blood loss before getting healed.

" Yes. " Axel said.

" I see. At least you had control over the entire situation and didn't accidentally kill him. " Rotate said relieved. A few broken bones can be healed over time, so show no mercy. Missing limbs, they are gone for good. Not even Recovery girl can give back missing limbs.

Nighteye on the other hand contemplated what he had witnessed. He agreed to have Midoriya have One for All to All Might because his quirk had a vision where Midoriya would survive the Overhaul fight with minimal damage.

His predictions were never wrong since Midoriya really didn't take much damage in the fight. What Nighteye was wrong about was how Midpriya came out unscathed. It wasn't because Midoriya used One for All extremely well but because Axel defeated Overhaul by himself.

' That was a lapse in judgment, but even I admit that Midoriya's progress with One for All has been improving quickly. Unless the situation calls for it, he can keep One for All. Though the wild card is him. ' Nighteye thought as he glanced at Axel.

Axel stared at Nighteye after feeling his gaze with a blank face before feeling something grab onto his leg. He looked down and saw Eri hugging it.

" Thank you for saving me. " Eri said as she hugged his leg tighter. She looked up to see Axel looking at her with his usual poker face.

" No problem. " Axel said as Eri kept looking at him, hesitant on asking something.

" Something wrong? " Axel asked, noticing her behavior. Eri flinched a bit before looking at Axel.

" Can I see that large guy, who was floating next to you? " She asked with a hopeful gaze. Axel looked at her and shrugged his shoulders.

He made stage 2 as Eri looked at it in awe. She tried reaching for it but couldn't before it moved closer to her. Her face brightened as she touched it with her hands.

Stage 2 then picked up Eri off the ground and placed it on his shoulders. Eri he on as she looked around, with stage 2 basically gloating above the ground.

" Am I flying? " Eri asked as she looked at Axel with innocent curiosity.

" No. You're floating. " Axel said.

" Oh. " Eri said dejectedly. She wasn't flying.

" You're just floating. I'll take you on a flight later. " Axel said as he looked at her.

" Really? " Eri asked with a hopeful expression. Axel nodded his head response as Eri cheered.

" Can we also get some cake? " Eri asked as she tilted her head.

" Sure. You can choose the flavor. " Axel said.

" Flavor? " Eri questioned.

" There are many types of cake. Like strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla." Axel said.

" Oh. Can we try strawberry? " Eri asked as she remembered when Rappa had strawberry cake. It looked tasty, but she wasn't able to try it.

Looking at them from a distance, Mirio stopped Midoriya and the others as they watched Eri interact with Axel.

" Is that the guy we saw cutting off Overhaul's limbs? " Nejire questioned as she looked at the scene.

" I'm not going to get on his bad side. " Uraraka said.

" Same. " Midoriya agreed. Seriously, that was scary.

" You never saw this before? " Nejire asked.

" Yep, kero. " Tsuyu said to Nejire.

" You got lucky that you can't get hurt by him. " Nejire said as she looked at Mirio.

" You're not wrong. " Mirio said with a smile. He looked at Axel interacting with Eri with a happy smile on his face as he watched Eri smile while being with Axel.

" So that's the road they will be taking. " Compress asked over the phone.

" Yep. They just left now. " Toga said with a smile.

" Alright. Head to the extraction point. We'll pick you up there. " Compress said.

" Okay. " Toga said as she hung up. " Let's head to the extraction point. They will come after they deal with Bird beak. "

" Okay, but let's go get a milkshake. A new ice cream shop opened up there. " Twice said as he thought about ice cream flavors.

" Okay. But first, let's go capture someone so I can steal their blood first. " Toga said as she and Twice left the scene.

" He's really scary. " Twice said as he thought about Axel.

" I thought he would kill Overhaul but he didn't, but he should've. " Twice complained.

" That would have been fun to watch. I really want to see him bleed. " Toga said with a smile.

" I wonder what Shigaraku will do once he hears about this. " Twice said.

" Dabi still wants payback for him getting destroyed by him. " Toga said giggling, remembering how Dabi felt when Axel defeated him. Though that's mostly because Axel would have ruined Dabi's plans of it wasn't for Kurogiri.

" Yeah, though writing all those things on his bandages was fun, except for getting chased around by him afterward. " Twice said as he remembered writing on Dabi with a marker. It was a good day, till Dabi noticed and attacked him.

Meanwhile...

" Sup. " Sjigaraki said as he stood above Overhaul.

" Are you here to kill me? "

" Nope. Just here for your hands. "

" Oh okay... Wait, what?! "

" Yeah, and these," Shigaraki said as he held Overhaul's work in front of him before dealing with Overhauls hands.

After getting the ice cream for themselves and the other members, Toga and Twice hopped into the truck which the rest of the LOV were sitting inside and drove off.

" What did you guys get? " Shigaraki asked.

" Ice cream. " Toga said. " It's a new shop so we got multiple flavors. "

" I'll take the chocolate. " Compress said.

" You got strawberry? " Shiagaraki asked.

" Yep. " Twice said as he handed out the ice cream.

" I'll take vanilla. " Dabi said as Twice handed it to him.

" By the way, Overhaul was tired for some reason. Could barely keep his eyes open while I was giving my speech. Why is that? " Shigaraki asked. He needed to know. He didn't spend most of his time practicing that speech just for Overhaul to not listen.

" Oh that. Axel beat the living shit out of him. " Toga said with a smile.

" Yep. Cut of Overhauls limbs, made a hole in his body slamming into a wall and even bitch slapped across the ground. " Twice said as he reached for his phone.

" Take a look. " Twice said as he played the video. It was a bite shaky considering he had multi-task holding back Toga.

" Damn. " Shigaraki said. " Didn't think he had it in him."

" At least he didn't kill him. We wouldn't have been able to get revenge otherwise." Dabi said with the spoon still in his mouth.

" So where are we headed? " Twice asked.

" We need to go find a place to hide after ditching this van. We're going to go find master's, right-hand man, the doctor. " Shigaraki said.

Everyone nodded their heads to plan as Toga went to the front and plugged her phone in to start playing music.

" Floor it! " Toga said.

Spinner at the well grinned as they sped off enjoying the fast-paced driving while listening to the music playing.

...

' Again. ' Axel thought as he laid on his bed. He thought about Overhaul's plan without the rage he felt for using Eri.

It was the second time that he encountered someone who wanted to change society. This time in the form of no quirks.

' Even if he got rid of quirks, society would probably stay similar, though everyone would no longer be judged based on quirks. ' Axel thought before rolling over on his side.

' Would creating a new society be worth it? Even if a new society is born, that society would gain new problems. ' Axel thought before rolling over to the other side.

' Then again, the current society is shit. The chance of the new society being better than this is pretty high. ' Axel thought before rolling onto his back again.

' Would creating a new society that's better than the current one, be worth it? '
