10 Chapter 10

As the four of them entered the room with the rest of their classmates they were greeted and complimented for the fight. Midoriya was praised for his skills which made him flustered as Bakugou became enraged.

" That was a great fight but can anyone tell me who was the MVP? " All Might asked.

" Sir. It was Axel. " Momo said.

" Correct. Do you wish to explain why? "

" Yes sir. Midoriya planned to use Bakugou to destroy the barriers however in a real-life situation if the barriers broke the bomb would have exploded after getting hit by the explosion.

Uraraka was rendered unable to do anything in the fight itself and relied on Midoriya's plan. She didn't think through things before executing Midoriya's plan.

Axel did everything right the moment the battle began. By placing barriers over the entire room, he made it so Uraraka couldn't do anything.

Bakugou needs no explanation considering there wasn't any teamwork between him and Axel.

Midoriya's quirk was unreliable and if he used it there would be a small chance it would work. More so than that, he could have destroyed the building itself and end up making the bomb blow up if this was real. So this limited his options. " Momo said.

Everyone stared at her analysis in shock especially All Might who thought she wouldn't have said so much.

Mina and Kirishima looked at Axel who was thinking about something, so they went up to him.

" Your thinking about something, tell me. " Mina said.

Axel turned his head away from Mina. Mina and Kirishima then grabbed his face to make him looked at them.

" What are you thinking about? " Mina asked.

" Tell us. Come on. " Kirishima said.

" Fine. " Axel said as he removed their hands.

" I was thinking that we could lure out those guys who stole our stuff from the online game we were playing.

We place those items in a " safe " location but actually fill the pace with explosives and then blow it up from a distance. " Axel said.

Mina and Kirishima looked at him before Mina grinned evilly.

" Yes. YES. That's it. That's how we can get revenge. " Mina said as she laughed maniacally.

" Should we worried about that? " Kirishima said.

" Yes. " Axel said.

Bakugou then walked up to Axel with an angry expression on his face.

" Why did you interfere?! I could beat them on my own! You should have done what I told you too!" Bakugou yelled.

" I see. Then next time I'll let them die instead." Axel said coldly.

Bakugou froze as he moved back. He didn't expect that cold unfeeling tone. The others felt the same way as Axel looked at Bakugou. His words didn't help either.

" Momo managed to understand what I had planned but made a wrong assumption. I did work with you. " Axel said.

" You told me to stay back and protect the bomb. I did. When they arrived inside the room, I closed it off with barriers, meaning they couldn't escape and time wasn't on their side.

You could have defeated them all on your own using combat but instead decided to use an attack that could have seriously harmed them. If they dodged it then it wouldn't have mattered but they didn't. They were going to get hit.

Next time you use that attack, you can deal with the consequences yourself and I won't help you. "

Taking a deep breath Axel then looked at All Might while the class was stunned. Bakugou was silent as he looked down at the ground while gritting his teeth.

" All Might. I'll go change and go back to the classroom. Is that all right? " Axel asked.

All Might stared at Axel. He could sense Axel had held annoyance for this entire exercise for some reason. He could just keep his emotions in check.

" That's fine. You did well young Axel." All Might said.

Axel nodded as he walked away from the group and went to change into his school uniform.

Mina and Kirishima just watched him leave as they know that he will be back to normal. Even in middle school, some people annoyed him as they kept coming towards him.

Axel had walked away without ever batting an eye at them. He just wanted to be alone but they didn't understand.

They understood now.

The exercise went back to normal as the next teams went up. Bakugou on the other hand stayed silent. The events were replaying in his mind. Axel had done what he told him to do.

He just needed to focus on combat. He also knew that that attack was dangerous which is why he said they had to dodge. The reason he lashed out though was the fact that Axel ended the fight and defeated them all on his own.

It made him annoyed as in the end, he didn't do shit to win. Axel stopped Uraraka. Axel made Midoriya run-up to the bomb room. Axel trapped both of them and captured them. He wasn't even needed!

It infuriated him.

Axel changed out of his hero costume and walked back to the classroom, his annoyance dying down as he relaxed.

Honestly, he felt like he was in hell being in that exercise.

Opening the door, he saw Aizawas sleeping in his iconic yellow sleeping bag. Axel walked over to his desk as Aizawas opened his eyes.

" Back already? Don't tell me you got in trouble. " Aizawa said.

" I didn't. I asked All Might if I could leave and go back to the classroom. He agreed. " Axel said as he sat down. Aizawa nodded as he went back to napping.

A comfortable silence followed before Axel broke it.

" Mr. Aizawa. " Axel said as Aizawa looked at Axel. He knew Axel was going to ask a question and paid attention.

Nezu trusted him and even invited him for a game of chess which means Axel impressed Rat Satan.

" Go on. " Aizawa said.

" What does it mean to save someone? " Axel asked.

Aizawa stayed silent with a poker face on as he looked at Axel.

This answered a lot of questions about Axel that Aizawa was waiting to see. He wanted to know why Axel decided to train to become a hero.

Seeing this question it became clear to Aizawa that Axel just wanted an answer to this question. So he enrolled in a hero school to hopefully find it.

His suspicions died down as he looked at Axel as thought about the question. It was a good question that had no clear answer.

"It's a matter of perspective. Saving someone is the end goal it just depends on how you save them. After all, there are many ways to save a person physically and mentally.

As for me, the way I save someone is from the shadows by being an underground hero, since I don't feel like dealing with the press. Seriously they are a pain. " Aizawa said.

" The question then changes. The question is now ' What is your meaning of saving someone? '. "

Axel stared at Aizawa as he became silent, processing his words. Aizawa looked at Axel before asking...

" So why did you come back early? "
