Chapter 2: For Honor!

A few minutes later a young Nurse approaches the new parents.

"Excuse me?" She says with a gentle smile "I'm gonna need to take her for some standard health checks... I'll get her back to you right away of course"

Asa holds her baby a little tighter "Just a bit longer..." She gently strokes her finger over her daughter's chubby cheek.

He husband kisses the top of her head "C'mon honey... We've got her entire life to be with her... We gotta check she's healthy..." He gently strokes an ice pack over his swollen hand.

She sighs... "Yes... Yes you're right Hajime... Her health is our top priority" She kisses the baby's forehead and... Reluctantly... Passes her over to the Nurse.

The Nurse smiles and holds the baby close "Thank you, now you try and get some rest and I'll get her back to you before you can blink" She heads out with the baby hoping to finish up before the child wants her Mama back.

A few minutes pass while they wait, Hajime sat on the edge of the bed with his arm around his wife

His face is straining with tears in his eyes! "Asa... I don't think I can keep my eyes open much longer!"

She laughs! "Then blink you idiot!"

"But I wanna prove the nurse right! Don't wanna blink!" He holds his eyelids open!

Asia's smile fades... "Should she be taking this long...? What if somethings wrong...? She is an unusual looking baby..."

He finally blinks and squeezes Asa into his side... "I'm sure it's fine... She'll be back any minute..."

A few more minutes pass... Then the ticking of the clock is interrupted by a yell from a few rooms away!

Asa sits up in worry! "What was that!?"

"That was..." He stands "Something..." He goes to the door and looks out, seeing a small huddle of Hospital staff around the examination room door

"Well...!?" She's getting more worried by the moment!

"Stay here. I'll go check..."

The sound of footsteps and more metalic rattling than a saucepan convention stops him in his tracks however

Two men make their way loudly down the hall! "No need for you to endanger yourself my good man! For we heros will handle this with a daring plan!"

His companion agrees! "Indeed! Fear not for we shall save the day! And then shout horray!

Two... Heros? Both men wearing knights armor of European style coloured Red and Blue respectively stand boldly before him!

"Make way those ahead! Sir Blue coming through! Isn't that so Lord Red?"

"Indeed! Make way I say!"

Both men rattle forward towards the nervous group of healthworkers.

"After you Sir Blue!" He bows elegantly to his partner

"In your stead Lord Red!" He bows elegantly... To his partner

Both try to enter at once... Getting wedged in the door.

"Ow! Damn it!"

"Mind your arm Blu! Crap!"

With a grind of metal they tumble into the room! Then swiftly clmaber to their feet!

Sir Blu holds his hands on his hips! "Reveal yourself evil doer!!"

Lord Red strikes the same pose! "Attempting to hide is futi-" he falters... "Hey what's with the statues?"

Due to the valiant yelling of Sir Blue and Lord Red the soul occupant of the room becomes frightened and starts crying loudly! A certain baby of course...

Sir Blu gasps! "A baby...! Hush hush little one you're ok..."

Both men step towards the child laid on the table and with a cry of surprise... Both men are swiftly turned to stone!

A Doctor from the crowd reaches in and shuts the door.

"Call the Police" he says with a grim expression "We have a baby with an out of control Quirk. Inform the parents"
