Chapter 17: Results
Within a darked room with one giant monitor lining one of the walls, a gathering of odd individuals can be found all sat watching and commenting on the performance of the young examinees in the recent practical exam.
Leaning against a wall to the side Aizawa sighs as he glares at the screen 'Teaching isn't my favourite thing to do... But this year's seem to be at least somewhat component... Though some more than others' he thinks of the Green haired boy that destroyed his body just for one attack 'The lack of control will be a huge problem... What a waste of a Quirk' as he's thinking a sickly looking skeletal man comes over
"Yo, Aizawa, what do you think of this year's selection?" He raises a hand in greeting
'All Might... Suppose I should give an honest answer...' "Some are very promising to be honest... And depending on the direction they decide to take their hero career some may truly grow to be shining stars in their fields..."
All Might looks happy over his words! "Hey! Did you see that green haired fellow, Izu-"
"That being said. Some are a disaster waiting to happen. Either arrogant fools who have delusions of grandeur or foolish children who aren't ready to even clean a Hero's shoes."
All Might droops... "Kinda harsh don't you think...?"
Aizawa sighs "The truth can be cruel"
"Quite right" from behind All Might, both men look to see a strange Mouse... Bear... Thing...? In a little suit "While the truth can be cruel the delivery does not have to be"
"I don't believe in sugar coating, Principle Nezu." he folds his arms
"Not even for that young lady you've been investing in?" He smiles
All Might looks between them! "Woah Woah Aizawa has a protege!?"
He Huffs "No I do not. I just helped someone with their training."
"Two someone's" Nezu helpfully adds
"Two!?" Much to All Might's shock!
Aizawa sighs and makes his way for the door "Even for those two... If they can't handle it then they're going home." He leaves

"Uuuugh..." With a groan Hitomi slowly comes back to the realm of consciousness... "What happened...?" As her vision focuses she sees directly in her face some old lady lips! "Bwah!?!" She shimmies backwards in her... Bed? She looks around and finds herself inside an infirmary 'Did I get hurt...? Duh! Of course I did I'm in an infirmary!'
"Well dearie it seems you're all better now" the little old lady next to her bed smiles
"Uhh... Yeah... Hi? You're... What was it... Recovery Girl! Right?"
"Yes yes that's right indeed young lady, and you're Hitomi Sekizō"
"Oh... Y-yeah that's me..." She looks away...
"Now now don't you worry, I don't believe what people are saying about you!" She reaches up and pats her arm
"You don't...? Thank you... That's a relief to hear..." She smiles and glances around the room... Seeing a few other patients like a sleeping green haired kid and the big guy with the puffy lips she tried to help before, laid out asleep on a bed "What happened to him?"
"Hmm?" She looks "Oh him! The big oaf overused his Quirk and is all tuckered out. He should be fine after some rest"
'More like I overused his Quirk!' "What about the other girl?"
"Other girl dearie? It was just you and him brought in, whoever you're talking about must not have been injured... Either that or she denied treatment if she was"
"I see..." 'I wanted to thank her for saving me in that alley...'
"Well... Now you're recovered I think it's best you head on home now, wouldn't hurt to free up a bed y'know"
"Oh! Right thank you very much Ma'am" she quickly gets out of bed and bows
"No need for that dearie it's my job is all" she laughs and holds out her hand "Here have some gummies, your lil snakes seem to like em"
Hitomi glares around at her girls! "Have you gluttons been bingeing while I was unconscious!?" They all happen to suddenly find the surrounding area far more interesting to look at! "No more peanuts for a week." They all hiss in outrage!! "No no don't give me that! You brought it on yourselves"
Recovery Girl chuckles "Interesting relationship you have with your hair"
"O-oh... Uhhh... Sorry about ignoring you..." She bows again!
"It's fine it's fine... Now go home!"
"Yes Ma'am!" She grabs her retrieved hoodie and glasses and dashes out!
"So Shota... That's one of yours then?" She smiles "I hope they both prosper" she goes and tends her other patients

[1 week later - The Sekizō home]
"When are we gonna find ouuuuut!?!?" Hajime kicks his legs on the sofa like a child having a tantrum!!
Asa siiiiighs "Darling shouldn't Hitomi be the agitated one?"
"But look at her she's so calm!" He points at their daughter! Sat reading an upside down book with the posture of a flag pole
"Mmmhm, she's the picture of tranquility" there's a knock at the door and they hear the letter flap rattle "Ah! I'll-"
Hitomi jumps to her feet!! "I'll get it!!" She sprints to the door!
Asa chuckles "Soooo calm"
Hitomi comes back with a letter baring the UA seal... "They're here..."
Hajime gulps!
Asa stands and goes over... Resting her hand on Hitomi's shoulder... "Would you like to open it in private...?"
She thinks for a moment... "No..." She shakes her head "No... I wanna open it with you guys" she sits nervously at the table... Asa and Hajime standing by her sides, each with a hand on her shoulder...
"Ok... Here we go." She rips open the envelope! Causing a folded piece of paper and a metal disk to drop out
After a moment the disk lights up and projects a screen showing Aizawa with a showy golden gameshow style background behind him
"Hello... It's me... As you can see..." he sighs and runs the back of his head "All Might was supposed to do all of these and reveal he'll be a teacher but... I asked to do yours..."
Hajime gasps! "All Might's gonna teach my baby girl!?" Asa elbows him! "Ow!!" And the recording continues
"You did pretty well in the written exam... Though that's to be expected seeing as I've been educating you for the past ten months... And in the practical you got enough combat points to pass on that alone... On top of some fancy rescue points for helping that big guy..." They're in stunned silence... "So yeah... That's all... Congrats you made it in... Bye" the hologram cuts off
They stay silent before...
"YOU DID IIIIIIT!!!" Hajime explodes!!
Asa nearly strangles Hitomi from the hug she gives her!! "Congratulations Hitomi!! I'm so proud of you!!"
Hitomi, while being choked by her Mother and shaken by her Father, smiles softly to herself... "Well..." She giggles! "UA here I come!" Her snakes hiss in agreement!
