Prologue- ReBirth

(Author- Hello everyone! I hope you all enjoy : )

"Dam, it!" a young figure shouts as he is sent flying backward, his armored body crashing into the wall, groaning from pain.

The impact from the blast leaving his body mutilated, blood and organs spilling out onto the destroyed roadway. A series of blasts ring out all throughout the city. The sound of bombs raining down on them.

"I knew it was a bad time to visit Ukraine." The boy chuckles to himself deliriously. He came here to meet with a coach who promised to help him train for his upcoming fight. But Putin decided this was apparently the perfect chance to launch his invasion.

The city in which Grey had landed in is blasted to bits by an endless barrage of bombs dropped by the soviet aircraft. One of which struck Grey.

Now slowly bleeding out, the boy groans angrily, "Dam. I never even got to say goodbye to Coach...."

Unable to finish his sentence, the boy passes away from the wounds he has sustained. His consciousness is slowly dragged from his body as the world around him grows distant and dark.

The moments slowly pass as the boy's consciousness slowly becomes more and more muddled, as if a fog decided to rest on his mind, nothing but darkness and emptiness filling the void.

Throughout the undisclosed amount of time, the world around the boy began changing, but his mind was frozen, unable to process the events around him. Soon the boy's mind, which has been asleep for longer than a few decades, begins to stir.

He begins to feel his body growing warm, but it's still pitch dark. He is covered in some strange slimy fluid. Still unable to process his own thoughts, he is only able to pick up small pieces of what is happening around him.

His small body steadily grows bigger and bigger, and with each passing month, his mind becomes more and more in tune with his physical form. As he slowly regains his mind, he feels as if his own soul is being changed and molded.

Almost as if he is a completely new person. Despite his memories and his personality still existing, he can feel that he is most certainly not who he used to be

After an unknown amount of time, the fog finally clears from his mind, allowing his thoughts to return to himself. As the fog clears, he attempts to open his eyes only to fail. "Congratulations mam. It's a healthy young boy."

"Wait. What?" The boy freezes as he hears those words, his small miniature form being cradled gently against a strange soft person. Despite him not knowing the person holding him, and being unable to see, he immediately relaxes in her arms, a wave of comfort overtaking him.

"Aw, what a good boy, not even crying." A soft loving voice chuckles as he feels a delicate hand resting on the back of his head. "Welcome to the world Gil."
