Confusion

Xiao Zhe slowly regained his consciousness, barely opening his eyes, "Was I saved?"

He got up from the bed as he checked out the room he was sleeping in. It was a fairly large room for a single person, Xiao Zhe felt thankful to whoever person saved him.

His memories slowly became clearer, Xiao Zhe became aware of how lucky he was that someone coincidentally met him in the forest. If not, he can't imagine what would have happened to him.

Opening the windows, he was welcomed by a new environment. Xiao Zhe looked at the medieval houses that occupied his sight. He gaped at the sight, "In which country am I? Damn, was I abducted by human traffickers?"

When he finished his sentence, he froze as he recalled how that woman saved him, "No, that's impossible. If then, what is happening? These houses are not old, but the designs... This is just weird."

It was then that a painful memory emerged from his mind, his body flying away because of impact, consciousness slowly vanishing, Xiao Zhe felt a shiver across his spine.

"Wasn't I involved in accident...?" His eyes constricted as his mind fell into chaos, "If I did really die, then why am I... alive?"
