Energy Armour

Jayden's plans to gather Energy Orbs had a few steps in it, the first step was to lure a beast to a deserted area and kill it, that was why he had led the Blood Reaver to that part of the canyon which he had already scouted and verified to lack beasts above the Basic Tier.

The next step was easy, he had to kill the beast. But Jayden didn't just want to kill the beast, he wanted to practice and gain more experience, and since he knew that most Evolved Tier Beasts were not his matchup and he couldn't even fight the weakest Sovereign Tier Beast, he abstained from using the Rogue Suit to make the fight a bit fair.

The Rogue Suit boosted his physical strengths, but without the Rogue Suit on, the full power wasn't revealed, so about then percent of the boost wasn't given.

This gave Jayden the challenge he wanted, and the Blood Reaver, just gave him another idea on how to fight without his Rogue Suit and still overpower Evolved Tier Beasts.

Jayden activated a skill that had helped him in the arena. "[Energy Overload]" His voice echoed in the area.

His energy was sucked out of the Creation Orb and spiralling out of his body as if he was on fire. He controlled his energy and began to compress it around his body, he used more energy to condense it around his body.

By using the memories he had of the armours he saw on the Elfs, Ascending Fallen Angels, Orcs and other races, he created a complete set of armour around his body.

[ENERGY OVERLOAD HAS BEEN UPGRADED]

[Energy Overload – Energy Armour]

His purple set of armour consisted of a Helmet, Chest piece, Pauldrons, Gauntlets and boots, he also had energy covering other open parts of his body, his abdomen and lower back were covered with a thin layer of energy, his arms also had a thin layer of energy that didn't impede his movements and he had baggy trousers made of energy that went beyond his knees, though the trousers were tucked in the boots making it look like they were filled with air.

He glowed, illuminating the dark areas and giving them a purple radiance.

(A/N: Now that's a knight in shining armour.)

The final showdown between the warrior in Purple Energy Armour and the Three Headed Blood Reaver in the Red Blood Armour was underway.

Jayden blasted off the ground, destroying both the ground beneath his feets and some rocks behind him with a sudden burst of energy.

He was upon the Blood Reaver in no time and his sword was brought down with as much power as he could muster, the sword sliced through the armour and head at the center like tofu.

The head didn't even get the chance to wail before its brain was cut in half. Jayden didn't end his experiment there, he controlled the energy in the sword to explode, which caused the head to burst apart, throwing flesh, brain matter and pieces of broken bones all around.

[New Technique Created]

[Annihilator Strike]

Jayden didn't get even a speck of blood on his armour, he had already left the head at the center and was at the head at the right.

The head reacted in time and tried to bite him, Jayden pulled back and when the heads mouth was closed, he kicked it with all his strength. The head jerked back and the beast staggered.

The beast jumped several meters back and growled fiercely, Jayden was about to commence his assault when he felt danger, he jumped to the left and successfully evaded a thick blood spike that whizzed past his body.

The Blood Reaver growled and charged at Jayden, he dodged the slow attacks of the Blood Reaver, and didn't counter attack. Under the constant movements and heavy injuries, the beast began to slow down, slowly losing its life.

Jayden saw this but didn't attack still, he knew that the technique used by the Three Headed Blood Reaver was sapping too much energy from it, and that last desperate blood spike attack and drained more of it's energy.

So even without his interference, it was still going to die unless someone saved it.

The beast finally stopped attacking, it was panting and blood was dripping from the head at the center with each second.

The beast raised it's two heads and howled, Jayden watched with interest at what was going to come next, the beasts Blood Armour began to glow, overshadowing Jayden's purple glow.

An ominous red light engulfed everything within it's range, the ground began to quake violently, causing boulders that were at the top to roll down, smash heavily on the ground, shatter, raise dust and shoot small pebbles around.

Jayden didn't bother to evade the rocks, they bounced of his armour like ping pong balls against a table.

The Three Headed Blood Reaver stared at Jayden and began to make strange noises, each head making a different sound. Jayden confused by this poured more energy into the Energy Sight, and what he saw made him gasp in shock.

[SEVERE IT IMMEDIATELY!!!]

Jayden swung his sword at the area in front of him, his sword cut through the air but hit nothing, a frown formed on his face.

In front of him was a red thread, connecting him and the Blood Reavers severed stump where the central head once was.

Jayden's sword didn't make contact with the thread, it just went through it like an ethereal object.

Jayden panicked, the thread was increasing in size and his danger sense was beginning to warn him. He poured more energy into his sword and struck again, but it didn't seem to be working against the thread that had now become an inch thick.

[You have to kill the beast for the thing it is preparing to stop!!!]

The urgency in Nahshon's words were making him feel anxious, he had no idea what the five inches red thing was going to do and his attacks were not doing any sort of damage to it.

Jayden charged at the beast with his full speed, he slashed his sword at the beasts head, however, blood suddenly spurted from the neck at the center and formed a barrier between them.

The sword was repelled but Jayden didn't budged an inch, instead, he swung his sword at the barrier countless times until the blood barrier shattered.

The final strike killed the head, he charged at the last head that was still producing those weird sounds, though the pace at which the thread was increasing had reduced significantly.

Jayden repeated the same thing to the head and ended its life.

[Jayden get ready]

"For wha..." Jayden didn't end his sentence before he dropped to his knees and screamed at the top of his lungs.
