Road to the End

The helicopter was losing control as Snake and Big Boss were fighting inside the helicopter. Solid Snake had Big Boss trapped against the wall but the commander turned him and slammed him into the wall of the helicopter. He turned to the cameraman, took his camera and kicked him off the helicopter along with the news reporter. Big Boss then looked into the camera, smiled and broke it against Solid Snake's head. Stunned by the attack, Big Boss continued to pummel his son as the helicopter lowered onto the DC Metro train track. Big Boss then held Snake over the train track as the blue line train,

"I birthed you! I gave you all the gifts you have! I brought you to the battlefield, showed you what you were, what you were capable of! I remember when me and EVA put you on the doorsteps of the orphanage. You were no more than two but even then I knew you would be my ace in the hole. But you were also the closest thing I've ever had to a successor. That's why this hurts, kid. In this life, you have to be willing to kill the ones you love but I won't kill you, I'll simply show you this world's true view." Big Boss then tried prying open Solid Snake's swollen shut right eye, he screamed in agony as he tried prying it open. Desperately, Solid Snake jammed his thumb into Big Boss's missing eye socket, resulting in them falling on top of the blue line train. Snake got up and so did Big Boss, they charged at each other and began trading blows. Snake went for a roundhouse but Big Boss ducked and uppercut him in the face, he recovered quickly and Snake kicked Big Boss in the leg then lifted him to do a belly to belly suplex. Solid Snake then proceeded to pummel Big Boss, making him bloodier than before. The mad commander tossed him off the train but Snake caught himself then grabbed Big Boss to pull him down, both men hanging onto the front of the train. Big Boss then punched Snake in the face then pulled out the conductor out of the train, having him get run over by the train. Snake pushed Big Boss into the train cart, the impact causing them to push the lever forward at full speed. Big Boss then tossed Snake into the cart, the battered angry operative slowly stood up and saw his father standing right across from him,

"C'MON, FIGHT ME!" demanded Big Boss, Snake gritted his teeth and assumed his stance. Snake could hear people behind him terrified screaming in the other cars, even in his angry state, he needed to save them. Solid Snake quickly ran to the door to the other cart, trying to disconnect the carts but Big Boss ran and punched him in the ribs. Big Boss then punched Snake over and over again but he quickly tossed Big Boss onto the seats, then slammed his head onto the seat before rocking him with elbow after elbow. The commander quickly recovered then kicked his son onto the pole, he tried going for one more kick but Snake dodged out of the way, making him break the pole in half. Quickly, Snake grabbed part of the pole and stabbed it into Big Boss's leg then broke it with an elbow. Ignoring the pain, Big Boss then grabbed Snake's head and slammed him into the window of the train. Big Boss attempted to kick him with his damaged left leg but Snake caught it,

"THIS IS FOR MY DAD!" declared Snake as he bent and snapped Big Boss's ankle in half, in response, Big Boss gave Snake a big boot to the face. Angrily, Snake jumps at him then gives Big Boss a dropkick onto his ribs. Instantly, Big Boss gets up and tossed Snake onto another pole and before he can get up, Snake gives him a shocking lariat through the pole. Snake tried getting up but Big Boss climbed on top and went to pummel Snake but then, remembering he had that knife from that fox, Snake quickly grabbed it and stabbed Big Boss multiple times in the shoulder. Suddenly, the hatch connecting the train to the train cars broke apart, the insane speed of the conductor's car caused it to lose control and derail off the track and go crashing into the Arlington Train Station, the final stage of this hellacious battle between father and son.
