Leviathan’s Wrath

Solid entered the building, the office was empty with weapons scattered around the room. Solid noticed two guns near a box of ammo labeled, "DRAGON'S BREATH". One was a Mossberg 500 shotgun and the other was a MP5 SMG. He quickly grabbed both guns then began arming himself with the Dragon's Breath rounds. Once he was ready, he began descending into the pitch black staircase with a gun in each hand. The Zanzibar soldiers were assembled in front of the entrance of the staircase, their laser sights locked onto the stairs as they heard Snake's every footstep getting louder and louder. Once it stopped, the soldiers began to breathe nervously as they weren't sure what was going to happen. Suddenly, their hearts jumped a beat once they heard the fore-end get cocked then a loud gunshot firing a flaming burst, blowing one of the soldiers head off as the rest of the body got lit on fire from the flare. Before the men could open fire, Snake began shooting them down with much more quickness, the fire from the Dragon's Breath rounds would spread onto the other soldiers, making them wail in agony as they burned alive. The soldiers didn't even get the chance to shoot as Solid Snake was an unstoppable terminating machine, every shell he shot he would flick a fresh one in from his bandolier with perfect accuracy to prevent jamming. His aim was pitch perfect, snapping towards soldier after soldier like a hawk. Snake's eyes were bloodshot red and his teeth gritted, a soldier tried stabbing Snake but the crazed FOXHOUND elbowed him in the head so hard, he crushed his head like a melon. Heads splattered from the shotgun blast, bodies incinerated all as Solid Snake marched his way through the hallway. One by one, the men were so frightened that they began dropping their weapons and trying to run away but Solid Snake kept shooting them either way, it didn't matter to him anymore, one way or another, Big Boss was his. Down to his last shell, Solid Snake switched to the MP5 SMG and began shooting the last remaining soldiers in the hallway before entering the underground prison. Holly glanced down from her cell to see the blood soaked Solid Snake, she was getting worried, she could tell by just the look of his eye that the only thing the soldiers feared was him. Suddenly, from the darkness emerged a bunch of soldiers in cop-like uniforms with barbed wire batons. In front of Solid Snake stood a hulked out man in a cop uniform, noticeably he had facial scars and a Zanzibar patch on his sleeve.

"Welcome Solid Snake, it's time for you to face judgment for your crimes against Big Boss, so says the Maniac Cop!" He announced in a raspy voice, Snake tossed his guns down and cracked his knuckles,

"I'm just getting started…" Snake said in a very grisly voice. The Maniac Cop pointed towards Snake as the Zanzibar Cops hopped down and charged at him. Snake gritted his teeth and let out the most bloodthirsty roar a man could ever do then at an unusual speed, sprinted extremely fast then launched himself to immediately crush one of the cops heads with a shattering knee. Holly gasped as she never saw Solid Snake like this, he then turned to another then suplexed them hard enough to land on their head which made the neck bend and instantly shatter. A cop swung his baton but Snake ducked and then punched a hole in his chest, the rabid Snake then took the barbed wire baton and shoved it into the throat of another cop. Two cops swung at him but the mad soldier blocked their strikes and then dug his thumbs into the eyes. He screamed in agony as Solid pulled up to remove their head like nothing. It horrified Holly as she never saw Solid Snake act like this, he snapped and she felt helpless to do anything. Solid then kicked another in the spine so hard their body bent a way it's not meant to. Solid then flipped someone toward the cell bars then charged and dropkicked him in the guts, causing all his internal organs to get squashed and forced him to throw up their blood and guts. Snake then went behind another and lifted them into a german suplex, the impact was so much that his entire head popped out and then Snake finished the last one by grabbing them, tripping them onto their back and repeatedly slamming their head over and over into the floor until it cracked open like an egg. Drenched in blood and his eyes possessed, he glared at the Maniac Cop with murderous intent. The maniac charged at Snake but Solid Snake countered by shattering his knee cap with a roundhouse which made the Maniac Cop into a cell. Snake then picked up one of the barbed wire batons then a couple of the broken rods from the cell and then stabbed them through the Maniac Cop's legs and arms to prevent him from fighting back. He then unwrapped the barbed wire then wrapped it around his throat, choking him.

"ARMORY!" Snake demanded,

"L-l-last room…of floor…" he blurted out, Snake then held the barbed wire noose with one hand and grabbed the baton, beginning to bash the Maniac Cop's brains in with such force and aggression. Blood spurting over his body as Snake kept holding his barbed wire, Holly closed her eyes as she couldn't look at the horrific thing Solid Snake was doing. He battered the Maniac Cop until he was lifeless then sliced the head off by pulling the barbed wire back with enough force. Through all the broken bodies and bloodshed, Snake took the key from the Maniac Cop then walked up to Holly's cell and unlocked her free,

"Snake?" She called out to him but Solid Snake wasn't there anymore, it was like speaking to a robot.

"There should be a radio room somewhere in that staircase I just came from, contact them and give them the coordinates, I shouldn't take long." Snake said to her,

"David-"

"It's Snake, Holly, Solid Snake."

"No, you have a name. You can stand there and act like this hardened psychopath but all you're doing is just proving him right-"

"My whole life I've been lied to by everyone. I don't know who I am anymore, this side of me, it scares me just as I know it scares you and the part that scares me isn't just how rapid my reflexes are or how many guts I can spill, it's the fact that I don't know how to stop myself…and there's a part of me that doesn't want to stop…" Solid emptily said,

"So what, you're just going to kill Gray Fox? Disregard everything Gustava said and died for?! Listen to me David, you can kill Big Boss, murder Gray Fox, burn this entire Outer Heaven army to the ground but it won't change how you feel, it won't change what has happened or the pain he's given you." replied Holly,

"Just go…please…" Snake pleaded. Holly sighed and despite Solid being drenched in blood,

"I'm sorry we couldn't stop this, Snake…" Holly told him, Snake then began walking away forward in the direction of where the armory was. Solid Snake walked down the stairs into a large room, then right as he entered the lights shut off. Snake pulled his handgun out as he wasn't sure what was happening,

"Snake…." A ghastly voice spoke in the darkness, he quickly turned around, unsure where the voice was coming from,

"Don't fight it Solid Snake…for I am your Silent End, Night Fright and the end is nigh for you."
