Seal the Date (3)

Lyndon arrived at his company. He tossed his car keys to the valet and entered the building.

Upon seeing the figure walking towards her, the receptionist greeted him.

"Good afternoon, sir." she bowed as she was saying this. Lyndon nodded as a form of acknowledgement.

"If there's a woman looking for me, send her to conference room B." he instructed his receptionist. "And also, if my parents will be coming here, tell them that I don't want to be disturbed." he added.

"Yes sir." the receptionist answered.

Misha is smiling from ear to ear. As expected, Lyndon strike one of his terms even before their marriage. She knew that Lyndon can't bear to see his mother being upset. She knew about being him being a 'Mama's boy.' She made a U-turn and headed towards the LGC's main office. She speeds up a little due to her excitement.

Who in the world wouldn't?

A penthouse worth millions in the city!

By just thinking about it, she can't help but feel giddy.

"I'm going to rip you off slowly." as she was saying this, she let out an evil laugh that anyone will see it, will shudder.

She stepped on the accelerator once more.

She arrived at the main building. She raised her head as she stared the building that stood in front of her magnificently. It is a building that is about 200 hundred stories. A towering office building marvelled beautifully in the midst of the city. Well, as expected of Lincoln's Group of Company.

She gave her car keys to the valet and walked towards the reception area.

She approached the lady behind the counter. "Excuse me, Mr. Lincoln is expecting me." she said. The receptionist let out a sweet smile to her. "This way ma'am." the receptionist ushered her towards the elevator. The woman pushed the number 200.

Misha just quietly observed her.

Few minutes later, they arrived at the vast office. It is elegantly styled with black and gray. Plant ornaments are neatly aligned on the marble floor leading to the glass table and a swivel chair pacing back from the sun. They didn't stop there. They kept walking from the right and arrived at a room. The receptionist knocked the door.

"Sir, she's here." announced the receptionist.

"Let her come in." said the man behind the door.

The receptionist slowly opened the door and let Misha come in.

"Thank you." said Misha to the receptionist. The receptionist just smiled at her. "Excuse me ma'am." uttered the receptionist and withdrawn her presence.

Meanwhile, Misha strode the room in elegant manner. She walked towards the rectangular table with chairs around it. It is somewhat dark when she entered. She heard a sound of clicking, and then lights filled within the room.

Lyndon is staring straight to her.

She stared back at him.

"Let's begin?" Lyndon initiated while staring at her.

"Sure." Misha agreed and positioned herself across him.

Lyndon handed out the contract to Misha and she accepted it with a smile.

"As I've said earlier, I wanted to omit the first term in the contract. I want to have a ceremony." Lyndon said in a business tone. Misha raised her brow.

"May I know the reason?" Misha casually asked.

"I agree with what my mother said. I'll be wed once so, why not celebrate it formally?" answered rhetorically. He smirked afterwards.

It was just like Misha thought. He can't bear to watch his mother be sad.

'Why not take this opportunity?' she thought.

"Sure." Misha agreed readily. "However, your penalty for this is the penthouse you mention earlier." she added.

"Yup." Lyndon confidently nodded.

"So, when do you want to have the ceremony?" Misha asked.

"On January." he replied shortly.

"Date?" Misha again inquired.

"Let them pick. I guess its okay with you?" Lyndon answered her without looking.

Misha answered him with "hmm..."

Both parties resumed to signing with the papers.

After a while, they finished signing.

Lyndon handed a black folder to her. "It's the title of the penthouse." he said. Misha nonchalantly answered him with "okay." They shook hands and parted ways.

The smile on Misha's face can't be contained and she let out a crispy laugh while on the elevator.

She's happy of course! Who wouldn't?

'This is just the start! I'll make you pay with everything Lyndon Lincoln!" she swore in her heart.

She called her Michele when she's on the underground parking. She took her car keys from the valet earlier. "Ma, can you pick up a suitable date for the marriage ceremony? We decided to have one." she said casually. She got in to her car and placed her bag beside her.

Upon hearing this, Michele can't help but delighted on the news. "Sure my princess! You know I can't say no to you." she said. Michele smiled from ear to ear and relayed the news to her husband Shane.
