"She's actually been a really good influence on her, Mum can be difficult at times and all that was having a negative influence on Ginny. She had self esteem issues, and Mum into her mind that the great Harry Potter would come be her prince charming"

"WHAT!?" Harry exclaimed

"Yeah, you've got to remember Harry, for Wizard children Harry Potter is a fairy tail. They've grown up hearing your tales and some idolise you"

"Well that's in the past, what's important is that Alex helped rid Ginny of that notion and helped her and cares for her as well, and made her a better person. Ginny and Ronnykins both"

"Me? She hasn't done anything to me!" Ron interrupted

"Trust us Ron, we've seen you grow up. You would've been much worse off of not for Alex"

"you're just messing with me"

"No we are not, tell us Ron how much homework have you missed last year?"

"Not much! Just a couple that I forget, but I always do them when Hermione reminds us"

"You see Ron, that's what we're talking about. Before Alex you were Lazy and unproductive, you never would've done your homework before. If it were the old you, you probably would beg Potter or Granger to let you copy theirs."

"If you spent as much time as Ginny or Luna do with Alex, you'd probably be like Granger" Forge finished

"But that's just homework though?" Ron asked quietly

"How many times have you insulted the snakes last year?" Gred asked

"I insult Draco and his cronies all the time cuz they're gits!"

"That's because it's Draco, Ron. We're talking about anyone in slytherin. If it were the old you, you would be insulting anyone in the snake pit."

"But now it's just a select few, not because they're slytherin but because they're as you put it gits. We've even seen you be cordial with the other snakes"

"Really?"

""Yeah""

"What's this go to do with Quidditch?" Hermione asked

"Oops, yeah back on topic. So basically Ginny likes quidditch, and mum doesn't want her playing it."

"Well one day at the Burrow, we rented out a recreational quidditch set with snitches, brooms etc. And Ginny wanted to play, but there weren't enough brooms. She asked Ron to have a turn, and he refused. Ginny even went to mum to ask Ron to let her have a turn, obviously she sided with Ron."

"Alex was not happy. So she challenged us to a 3v1 in quidditch. She told us if she beats us we let Ginny play whenever she wants, but if she loses she'd buy us all brooms so we don't have to rent them out"

"Guess how that went?" Ron asked wryly.

"She beat you?"

"Beat us? That would imply we had a chance. No she slaughtered us. We agreed of course, we had nothing to lose. So she grabs a broom and does some test flights"

"She's flying all over, hanging onto the bloom, doing loops etc. Then she stands up and starts jumping on the broom, whilst midair. We asked her what she was doing"

"Do you know what she said? She said she's testing out the broom, she's never flown one before"

"We'd obviously learnt our lesson from before, but we still felt bad going 3v1. Flying is a completely different game and she's never done it before. On top of that me and Forge were on the quidditch team. We thought Ron would be our third"

"Nope, she decides the third would be either Bill, Percy or Charlie. Dad wasn't there then, but I'm sure she would've challenged him as well. Any way so it's us and Charlie vs a 9 year old girl. And she decides to give us a handicap"

"Really?" Harry replies surprised, she apparently beat them with a Handicap? She must be a monster, Harry thought. And they called him a natural

"Yeah, she decided for her to win she would have to score 30 points against us AND catch the snitch. Us on the other hand had to catch the snitch or score a 100 points to win. Whichever happens first"

"I don't know how she does it, but when we say she's a genius we meant at whatever she does"

"Yeah, we were flying. We thought we could get past her, we had experience after all and Alex never played quidditch. Nope. She tracked us like a hawk. Whatever we did, she was there. She knew when we were going to pass, when we were going to feint, if we were going to dive or turn up. And she tracked all 3 of us at the same timex whilst we were flying around at our fastest speeds"

"Yeah, Charlie was there with us defending, we figured since she had to score before she was allowed to catch the snitch we might as well defend until it turns up. She went straight through us."

"She would fly straight at us with full speed, and right at the end jump and backflip off the broom over us. Her broom would then just go around us and would be there for her to land on, she somehow figured out how to control the broom when she wasn't on it, without ever having flown one before."

"Yep, she once flew right next to me at full speed whilst I had the Quaffle. She just stood up and jumped onto my broom, kicked it out of my hand and just jumped back when she got it."

"And she didn't stop at 30 points, she went to a full 170 points just to rub it in, whilst we were at 30. Then the snitch came"

"She grabbed the Quaffle and kept it on her, she knew if she didn't we'd just keep scoring whilst she chased after the snitch. And she stood up on her broom whilst flying. Whenever we got close to her to grab the Quaffle, she would just move along the broom like she was walking on solid ground. And the she loops on the fucking broom!"

"Most people sit down and grab the broom handle before doing a loop, she somehow did it standing up."

"Yeah she slaughtered us"

"How did she do all that!?" Harry asked excitedly

"We asked her. She told us she knew what we were going to do by watching our body language, every twitch. Where are eyes were looking, how we were breathing, how we were holding the brooms all that"

"as for controlling the broom? She told us every time she jumped off, she queued up actions for the broom to do before it ran out of Magic. She said she had to calculate really precisely where and when she would land, because once she commanded the broom and jumped she couldn't do anything. One mistake and she's toast. She said she took the risk because she knew she would get it right and Bill and Percy were there refereeing."

"And the Loop whilst standing up?" Harry asked hopefully

"Weeell.. all she said for that was 'Science Bitch!"

""Wow"" that's all Harry and Hermione could say.

Hermione however still wanted to know more. Granted what she'd heard was beyond amazing, but she wanted to know more about her making a brand new magic system.

"Do you know if she's interested in making any spells? She talked about making a new magic system?"

"Well that sounds like her alright, remember when we said she can do what it takes us a month, an afternoon? We exaggerated"

"Oh really? I guess an afternoon is too much for 11 year old"

At that the twins just started laughing.

"What's so funny?" Harry asked

"Well it's just, when Gred said we exaggerated. We meant that it would take her less than an afternoon"

"Yeah, we once were working on a new prank spell and left the Arithmancy formula out at the Burrow. She just happened to walk over, looked at the formula for about a minute and started giving us advice on how to improve it. She even suggested some names for it, without knowing what the spell was supposed to do. She figured it out by the number charts we left out in under a minute"

"And do you know something scary? We've never seen her do any kind of magic, even accidental magic despite clearly knowing how to"

"But that's still only about third year work right?" Hermione asked

"Well yeah, but still. Why are you so hesitant in believing she's a genius Granger? Are you jealous"

"N-no I'm not" Hermione replied with a heavy blush

"Well there is that one thing, but we don't have proof. But we're pretty sure it happened"

"What is it?" Hermione asked eagerly

The twins seemed unsure of themselves, and after having a silent conversation between each other, nodded and turned back to the trio.

"Okay we'll tell you, but you NEED to promise that you tell this to NO One!"

"Okay we promise" the trio replied.

"Okay, well you know Luna Lovegood right? The blond one? Well her mother is a professional spellcrafter, and I think she helped her in something and maybe saved her life"

"What!?"

"Yeah, Ron, do you remember a couple of years ago when Luna's father took Ginny and Alex back home early from their playdate? And he told us that Luna was upset?"

"Yeah?"

"Well a a few days after that Pandora Lovegood released a formula to calculate how a new spell will fail, if its going to explode in your face or just fizzle out without doing anything"

"Spell crafting death dropped by 10 percent after that, and she was praised for it in the circles. Well she told them that it was developed in conjunction with a family friend who wanted to remain a anonymous"

"We think that friend is Alex"

"How would you know? It could be anyone?"

"Well that's the reason we don't want you to tell anyone this. We think Luna might be a true seer"

"Aren't those a myth?" Ron asked

"No, there have been some in the past, they're extremely rare. Anyway the day Ginny came back, she told us that the reason Luna was upset was because she had a dream, and saw her mother die"

"She rushed to her mother who was fine, but she overheard them talking. Pandora told Luna that Alex helped her and that she's fine. And thanked Alex before they left"

"And ever since then Alex has been extremely close to the Lovegoods. All the pieces line up, but we don't have proof. Remember never tell anyone Luna might be a seer, not only would you put her in danger, you would have Alex to deal with."

"Oh. That's surreal" Hermione breathed.

"Hey Fred, George do you know how Alex became so rich? She spent over a thousand galleons on brooms the other day for Luna and Ginny"

"From what we know she solved some muggle math problem and got some prize money, then she bought businesses with it"

"Maths? It must be a really hard problem then. My dad was reading about some problems that are so hard, they pay large amounts of money. I think he said someone solved a millennium problem" Hermione said to the group

"That's the one!" Gred said

"What?"

"Yeah, we've heard mum talk to Alex and Luna's parents. They've tried explaining to her, but she just thinks that it's not anything special and they've never told us how much they made"

"Umm guys millennium problems have been unsolved for decades. Solving one means you get a million dollars"

"How much is that in galleons?" Ron asked dumbly

"That's over a million pounds, which is about 200,000 Galleons"

"""WHAT!?"" " the entire group exclaimed

" And you said she's buying business, I think you mean investing, it's a muggle thing. And Dad does that in small amounts, he said if you have money and if you're good at it you can double your money every year"

"Oh wow, so if she did that for 3 years she'll have 600,000 galleons. She'd be as rich as the purebloods"

"She might be richer, if she invests all the money she earns. In three years she would have 1.6 million. And if she's a genius, I don't see why she couldn't"

"Merlin's Beard!" Ron exclaimed.

A/N - this was really conversation heavy. Do leave feedback. As I said this is my first time writing anything. I'll also be realising a kind of FAQ addressing some of the questions I've gotten, as well as some of my future plans later today. Next chapter will probably be tomorrow. Unless I get writing fever. I really need to get better at conversations, it seemed flat imo - all the characters sound the same and I also need to get better at conveying emotions of characters. Practice makes perfect.
