First Lie

Should I text him now? It's already past 11. It's so late. I'll just leave a small message.

But I shouldn't be texting him. He's someone I just know the name of...

'Heya! I just saw your text. I was with my parents so I didn't check my phone.' and she hit the send button.

'It's fine. I thought you would just ignore me. Do you have any siblings?', came Sehban's reply within a single minute.

'Umm... No. I'm the lone child of my parents. What about you?', replied Alina.

'I have siblings. I've noticed you have a habit of reverting the question back to the asker. Anywho.. did you enjoy your school field trip?'

He was the first guy Alina ever had a thoughtless conversation with. She just wanted to keep talking to him. He had this sort of magnetism which attracted Alina effortlessly.

*The next day*

Alina went out to the amusement park with her cousins. But she was immersed in her phone, texting Sehban without a break.

"Who are you texting so diligently?", Asked Nabeel, her cousin of same age.

"My friend."

He eyed her and then phone and tried to peek through the phone.

"It's Uroosa.", She shrieked and hid her phone to her chest.

"Chat with her later. Alina, let's enjoy.", Said her other cousin.

'Hey. Sehban, let's chat later. I'm out with my cousins. Bye.'

'That's the first time you took my name. I'm so happy, Sabrina.', came his reply instantly.

'Actually, my name is Alina. I lied to you yesterday because I wasn't sure if you're a good person...'

'Wow! That's good. You should get an applause. Goodbye Miss Alina or rather Sabrina.'

'Dont get mad please. I didn't know who you were. How am I supposed to just say my name correctly to some stranger?'

'Yeah, right. Your name holds some secrets which if revealed, WW3 would be initiated.'
