Chapter 17 - Octagon
"Of course, he will definitely take me, he has been my friend for a long time," I said and I saw Alison glared at me. "Don't you even know how to thank me?" She repeated. I didn't reply anything to her, but in my mind, how can I thank her, this is my idea, I've known this club before her, and Gong-Li is my best friend ever since before, I want to tell her that, but I can't, so I keep my mouth shut. I'm afraid to have fight with her. Alison was upset, and she was about to say something again, but Mabel restrained her. "That's enough, the most important is, the three of us were going inside, aspiring to be a member, okay?" Mabel stated. After a while, Gong-li came back, he brought three strange face mask, and he told us to put it on. The face mask was lustrous and have a design of a dragon and there's some pure gold bids attached on it, and top of that, it was shining. "Wow! This is amazing!" We exclaimed as we gazing at it. While we were holding the strange face mask, we felt thrilled and excited at the same time. Gong-Li told us to put it on now. And as we put it on, we felt a very strange feeling. Were so upbeat as we wears it. "This is cool!" Mabel and Alison exclaimed, I felt the same way, but no words coming from my mouth but the intense feeling inside. "You may now enter to Octagon Kizoku Club, Welcome!" He smiled as he lead us to the guard. I can't explained how excited I was as we walk towards the club. The guard was in his cabin and when he saw us approaching, he immediately paid his respects. He did not recognized us, because we were wearing the face mask, he didn't have any idea that we were there. Gong-Li said, it is forbidden to show our faces to the guard. Gong-Li shows an ID pass to the guard and he told him that we are new members and were with him, so the guard let us in. We can't believe as we walk inside. As we reach the entry way, Gong-Li opened the door for us. As we entered, we saw a staircase down the basement. We went down and we saw another door with the signage "Octagon" We went into it.
He open the door. And as we entered, we were baffled when we find the club seemed ordinary, there is a bar next to it and a small stage, we saw a few people in it, they look like new or aspiring like us. Gong-Li made us sit on one side. "Take off your facemask now," he said.
And when we removed it, Alison looks disappointed. "Is this it?" Alison scoffed.
"Stay here for a while I'll be back!" Gong-Li said and he went out. When he went out, Alison suddenly exclaimed,
"As I expected, it was not good in it!" said Alison, feeling dismayed.
"But fir me it's nice, look!" Mabel said.
"This is look so ordinary," Alison said, very disappointed.
I immediately rolled my eyes, just in case to see Jung-moon,
But I only saw a few youngster sitting at the other table, and they looked like young people from Asia.
"So, that's it? The club I went to before is even better than here!" Disappointed Alison said. "This club is dainty!" Mabel said.
