Today was the day they would face off against the EU team Phoenix in the mid-season tournament, and the stakes were high.

The walk to the venue was filled with nervousness as they discussed their strategies and game plans. Chao led the way with confidence, his voice steady as he summarized their approach for the day. They have been already going through it with Dylan but it wouldn't hurt to go over it a few more times.

"All right, everyone," Chao said, his tone too authoritative for Shan's taste, but he couldn't care less now.

"We've trained hard for this moment, and now it's time to show the world what we're made of. Let's go out there and give it everything we've got." He tried to hype them up but gained only a few eye rolls from tired players.
