----------------------------------

Director Goodsky had left the manor after my announcement. I could tell she still wanted to ask me a lot of questions anout my demon powers but we excused ourselves to have a family talk.

We were currently inside my parent's room with my mother standing up in front of us, forbidding us to even think about doing anything remotely dangerous.

Father was a bit more rational. I could tell he didn't like the idea as well, but he couldn't really see any reason for me not to be an adventurer besides my age.

I was going to debate with my mother but not blame her for refusing. She is doing all of this because she is worried and I could never blame her for that. It was something I had expected and I wanted to slowly ease her into the idea, but the meeting with Director Goodsky threw the timing off of everything .

After being silent the whole time, my father finally spoke up. "Honey, let's hear the kids out at least. I'm not saying I agree to them becoming adventurers but don't you think we should at least listen to what they have to say?"

"How can you still say that after what happened that day!" My mother yelled, breaking down into a fit of sobs.

I looked to my father for answers, curious about what she was talking about, but he simply shook his head and comforted my mother.

I grabbed my mother's hands. "Mom. It isn't the first time we are facing danger, me and Art can manage ourselves well under any circunstance and we have proved that already."

"Yeah mom, we aren't planning on leaving tomorrow. we were looking forward to spending a few months at home with you guys." Art grabbed her other hand.

She was still silent, but her face softened a little at that and I just gave her a warm smile, Sylvie even began licking her hand and Amaya rubbed her cheek, wrapped around her forearm.

"What I meant by becoming an adventurer was so that we can get some experience. After being in the Elf Kingdom for three years, I missed a lot about what I should know about this world of ours. I just thought that becoming an adventurer would be the best way to gain some practical experience," Art urged, not letting go of Mother's hands.

"I understand where you're coming from, kids. Although I was a bit older, I was also itching to get some real life experience in fighting as soon as I awakened as a mage." Dad reminisced. "But your mother is also right in that it is dangerous, and unpredictable."

"Im sorry, I dont know for Arthur but the fact that im going to become an adventurer is not to question, its something very important for me. But I don't want to leave while we are on bad terms." I explained to them that this is something very important for me.

My mother and father nodded their head at this.

"Dad. Mom. What if we were to have some sort of guard or supervisor with us? Would that make you feel a bit more at ease with this whole idea?" Arthur came up with another genius idea.

"..."

"Hmm... You know, that's not a bad idea." I could almost see the gears in my father's head wind as he began thinking of potential candidates.

"B-but... I still won't be able to see you for three years!" My mother began to protest again.

Shaking my head, I say to her. "Mom, we're not going to go on long trips or go on dangerous missions to far away places. We will try to come back every few months, maybe even more frequently than that, depending on what we do." I explained

"Bruhders, are you leaving?" Little Ellie hearing our convesration asked us curiously and innocently.

I started to panic. "Nono Ellie we are staying here. You'll be seeing us a lot from now on, okay?" I rubbed her cheek with my palm.

"Why did you want to be an Adventurer before even going to school anyways? Wasn't it usually the opposite?" My mother softly muttered.

"We want to test our skills out in real life situations." Art said.

"Also, we want to at least try to fit in with everyone when we go to school. It would be a lot harder to fit in if we began school at the age of eight. I don't think we'll be able to make much friends with such a big age difference. We would be looked down at, and I dont like this." I told her.

*Sigh*

'I dont even want to imagine if one of those noble brats try to disrespect me or one of my friends.'

After this we made a middle solution that will please both parties. They agreed te let us become adventurer but under three conditions, first of all we were not going to become adventurers until after our birthday, which is in three months. The second condition is having a guard with us on our missions. Of course, the last condition is that we will be visiting as often as possible."

After this conversation I was invited to go out with the ladies again but I refused, instead I went to Arthur's room to chat with him.

"Sup Art, everything is good?" I opened the door not bothering to even knock.

"Yeah everything is alright. What about you?" He closed the book he was reading and turned to face me, still sitting on his chair.

"Yeah im doing well too. The rooms aren't as great as the one in the castle but al least each one of us has his own." I said closing the door behind me.

"Yeah, and we are close to our family too so it's good enough for me." He crossed his legs.

"For me, I considered the people of the castle as my family too, so I felt like one of them actualy." I said walking to his bed and sitting on it.

"Hey! Your making me look bad here. It's not as if I didn't consider them as family, at leats the ones who did the same for me." He crossed his arms lifting his tone a bit.

"Hahaha I know I know im just kidding." I laughed slapping softly my legs.

"By the way, Amaya is getting bigger, dont you find her heavy?" Arthur asked out of concern.

"It is true that she now weights more than six kilograms but as you know my body is strong so its okay." I said rubbing her head.

"I see... So, what brings you here bro?" He asked me.

"You know, we are going to an adventure where danger can come at unexpected times and we will face death most of the time, so we will need gear and equipement. So this is why I came to ask you to help me with your ex-king techniques talk with Vincent to provide us with those things." I fed Amaya meat parts I was having with me inside small piece of clothes.
