Chapter 85. Sinister, too Sinister! _1

Just as expected, Lu Lingxi and Qin Shen's car conked out one hour into the ride. They alighted to inspect it and found it was out of gas. On checking the trunk for petrol, they discovered all of the fuel had been substituted for water.

An eerie occurrence like this must have been the work of Mù Qiānxún.

Neither of them were angry though, they were on a major highway and there weren't many passing cars. They tried calling for help, only to find their bag with the phone had been stolen and the phone was nowhere to be found!

Too far to go to the Imperial City for assistance. Thankfully there was petrol back at the villa. They were tough folks and could run a few hours without exhaustion.

They decided to go back and fetch the petrol.

It took them nearly five hours to run back to the villa. When they finally arrived, they found the spare petrol, but to their dismay, it had been dumped out. An empty petrol can lay on its side mocking them!

Such savagery!
