The truth unveiled

The ambulance arrived and those injured were brought to the hospital. Eleo, Oriana, Adrian, and Tiffany were shocked to hear the news and rushed to the hospital. Eleo's parents were given a separate room because they were confidential and handled by the police, as they suspected that the case was related to Eleo's kidnap case. Police concealed the accident from the public. The injured truck driver was under police custody, and he confessed his crime to them after he regretted doing it. He was the sole breadwinner of his family, and because of his greediness, in the end, he lost his legs and became handicapped.

The next day, the news revealed the accident that took place and also the culprits, Eleo's aunt, Mrs. Melania, and uncle, Mr. Carl Moore, who were arrested. At the court, both of them confessed that they planned to kidnap Eleo and when they failed, they stayed put for three years until they recovered the news through one of the servants in Mr. Horus's house regarding Mr. Horus writing a will for their sons. They planned to kill them to delay the process of transferring the heritage. All their alibi matched with the police reports and investigations. The police also collected their bank statements which recorded the money transfer during Eleo's kidnap and also into the truck driver's account.

The case was closed by the judges upon hearing from the prosecutor and defense lawyers and three of them charged for their offenses. Mr. Horus was really disappointed with his sister's greediness for his prosperity even though she was equally as wealthy as him. He hoped the rest of them would stay happily without any troubles after the incident.

On that night, Eleo seemed to be very upset about the incident about the betrayal of someone related to him again. After dinner, he was gloomy and went to his room without talking to anyone. Even his parents and Adrian were unable to comfort each other and all of them seemed miserable as well. Oriana wanted to cheer up Eleo and knocked on his room door but he didn't open it. Oriana believed he needed some time for himself to recover from this news.

After the holidays finished, the whole family returned to their normal life where Mr. Summer and Mr. Horus went back to work while their children went back to school. Eleo seemed quieter than his usual self. Oriana watched him being gloomy the whole day and when she cracked her head on how to cheer up Eleo, she came across a news article about a meteor shower at night. At first, she wanted to talk to him about that news but then she decided to prepare a surprise for him later at night.

As usual, after dinner, Eleo silently went to the garden area for a walk. While he was wondering, he raised his head and glanced at the sky. It was a beautiful view, and he hoped to watch it with Oriana from his room. Then, he continued to walk for a while and sat on the bench near the pool. After some time, he dozed off.

Nevertheless, Oriana finished her meals before Eleo and went to hide in his room. She was waiting patiently for him for about two hours in his room.

After two and half hours, Eleo entered the room after being woken up by Adrian who was walking in the garden. Then, he closed the door and walked towards the balcony to watch the night view.

At that time, Oriana carefully tiptoed towards Eleo and surprised him by spookily saying, "Hey…. Eleo...!"

Eleo was surprised yet remained calm.

He softly questioned her, "When you enter my room? I thought I locked after entering."

Oriana smiling cunningly said, "Haha, you didn't lock when you left for dinner. My luck I guess. It was open when I entered before you."

"So, why are you in my room?", Eleo asked calmly.

"Oh, before I forget. Come on! Let's go outside. I prepared something for you," Oriana said excitedly while pulling Eleo's hand to make him move towards the door.

But he didn't move an inch. Contrastively, he pulled Oriana and back hugged her while facing the balcony.

He whispered, "Let's just stay like this. I don't want to go anywhere."
