19. It belong to her now

Lillie woke up when she felt something warm and soft just inches away from her lips. She also felt the spark from it. Her eyes instantly flew open when she realized what it was that she felt on her cheek. A kiss. Alex kissed her in her sleep just an inch away from her lips.

She was no fool to not have noticed his intimate actions toward her. He leans again to the other side and kissed her there as well. Her face became red.

She was already shy that she woke with a man inside the room looking at her, but that was not all he was kissing her cheek lovingly and he was to do again. She pulled the covers to face hiding. This was her first time waking up and finding a man beside her.

Alex pulled the bed cover off her face and smiled at her bashfulness. "Good morning, little Lillie!" He greeted, smiling at her.

"Goo... Good morning, Alexander." Lillie replied stuttering a bit.

Alex looked at her nervous and embarrassed face and wondered what she would have done if he had kissed her lips which were originally what he wanted to do before changing his mind at the last second and kissing her Just beside her lips.

"Are you hungry?" he asked.

Lillie nodded not able to find her voice yet due to the nervousness that she was feeling from having him so close to her early in the morning.

"Relax, Lillie," Alex said when he noticed how nervous she was growing. "I won't do anything to you." at least not without your permission. He said but could not say the last half of it to her.

Lillie eased up a little after what he said and nodded, "Okay." she said and gave a faint smile.

"Okay, let's go now, breakfast is ready," Alex said and carried her down the bed and was about to lead them out of the room when she pulled away.

"I need to brush." " she said and took a step towards the bathroom." I haven't brushed yet. I have morning breath."

"Alright, I will wait for you." Lillie rushed into the bathroom without waiting for him to finish talking. Alex shook his head and left the room.

He arrived at the dining table and found Raal, Kevin, and Cecile already seated and waiting for him to come before they started eating.

"Good morning everyone." Lillie greeted them when she entered and found them at the table. They all greeted her back warmly except Alex who had already started pilling up food on her plate. She saw that and pursed her lips at him.

The other three people were waiting for Alex to start eating before they did because they were eating with the king while it was clear that he will not eat until Lillie was seated.

Lillie then sat beside Alex and started to eat followed by Alex and then everyone else.

"I didn't see you there yesterday, Cecile, what happened? I was hoping to see you there." Lillie said. She wanted Cecile there but she could not find her.

Cecile was the inky none shifter that she has seen in this house and the only female whom she has seen Alex getting Alex with. Lydia may have shown up the other day but she did not seem all that close to Alex.

Cecile smiled at her and then answered," I am sorry Luna..." Cecile began but stopped when she realized her mistake. She looked at Alex to see his reaction but there was none.

Why should he be bothered? Lillie was indeed their Luna and soon will be their queen as well. Cecile then continued after she had reasoned it that way.

"I am sorry that I could not make it. Some things need my attention in our realm." Cecile said unapologetically. Lillie's interest was piqued when she heard about the other realm. She was about to ask when she heard Alex talking to her.

"Is there anywhere you will like to go today?" He asked. Lillie thought about it and then shook her head, "No, there isn't any." she replied.

Taking a sip from the glass of water. In his hand, he outs it down and turned to face Lillie." You can stay here in the house then if you want to anywhere, Kevin will be here with you, tell him and he will take you there." He said and Lillie turned to Kevin and who had a look on his face. She couldn't tell what it was. She raised a brow at him.

Kevin understood the message and he nodded. There was no way to refuse her or reject a direct order from his alpha.

"Alexander!" Lillie called. Alex turned to face her and waited for her to continue but she didn't. He looked at her closely and knees that there was something that she wanted to talk about.

"What is it, Lillie?" He probed.

"It's nothing, don't worry about it." She said and put her focus on the plate of food before her.

Alex frowned. What was it that she wanted to say? And why didn't she? He wanted to ask her but refrained from it. He wouldn't want her to think that he prying into her life. It may be that he just didn't want to probe with so many people around but he will ask her when they were alone.

("Alpha!") he heard Raal through the mind link. Still having his eyes on Lillie, he answered. ("What is it?")

("You have an interview with the press today.") Raal said. He had to remind him so he does not change his mind and decide to spend time with his mate instead. Those people have pestered him long enough and he was tired of having to reschedule the interview over and again.

Alexander has not been seen in public for more than five years. The people believe that the multi-billionaire was dead and his people were covering up his death from the public. Even within his companies, the shareholders and employees believe the same and they have started making trouble with the company's shares.

The meeting he had yesterday was with just a few members of the higher-ups. The meeting with the press was to let the public know that Alexander Ragnar was still alive. Cancelling this meeting would only make things go from worse to worst.

Alex understood the importance of the interview. He could no longer push that aside anymore. Not now that he had his made with him and he wants to give the best possible life that he could afford. Whether it was in the supernatural realm or the human realm he only wanted to give the best to her.

He turned to Raal and said, ("Tell them I will be there")

("Yes, alpha") Raal said and nodded his head. (" Is there anything else that you will like me to do, alpha?")

Alex looked at Lillie and said, ("By the house that my mate lived in. It belongs to her now") and cut the mind link. Raal nodded and focused on his plate again.

Again, Lillie noticed the slight change in their eyes and made a mental more to ask about it. Maybe during her stay with Kevin, she will ask him about it. She looked at Kevin and noticed this he did not look fearful rather, he looked playful and carefree and she was a bit relaxed to spend the afternoon with him.

Kevin felt her gaze and looked at her, he gave a sheepish smile and scratched the back of his head imagining how awkward it will be babysitting his Luna.
