Yinuo's Worry
When Yinuo returned to Quinlan's world, entering his body once more, she quickly stood up and tried to contact Quinlan. Only a few seconds passed by then, but her telepathy wasn't connecting with Quinlan anymore.
She was worried about what happened, especially since she messed up the fate of many cultivators back there. "System. Quinlan is safe, right?" She asked rhetorically.
The fact that she was still alive was proof enough that Quinlan himself was safe. However, she couldn't sit still, knowing that as soon as she got another switch card, she could finally cure Lady Moon's illness.
*Knock!* *Knock!* *Knock!*
"Quinlan? Is there something wrong?"
A series of knocks were followed by a worried voice coming from beyond the door of her room. Yinuo turned before responding while raising her voice a little. "No, I'm fine, Melody. I was talking to myself."
