First Battle (2)
The first to attack dictates the flow of the battle.
Both sides probably thought of the same thing, and as such, they charged forward without holding back. With every step they took, they were brought ever closer to their foe, making their clash inevitable.
Just as they were right in the middle of the stage, the first attack finally came.
"HAAAP!"
With a fierce battle cry, Yu-Lin waved the staff in her hand, sweeping the space before her, trying to "cleave" her enemy across the waist.
"...!"
Quinlan saw the preparatory motions and, without a single hesitation, halted in his steps. As he did, the wooden staff barely touched the hem of his clothes as it passed right in front of him, missing completely.
