Echoes' Nest
5:11 a.m. Early morning. Echo-Dominated Land.
The Alpha team found a normal Echo standing idly by the beach. Unfortunately, it wasn't included in their target list.
As per Yinuo's suggestion and with everyone's approval, they decided to follow the lone echo to lead them to its nest instead of dispatching it and moving along.
And finally, after a long hour of waiting, it began to move.
"We'll keep a two-kilometer buffer distance from it, just to make sure we're not detected," Yinuo suggested once more.
Two kilometers isn't that far, but it's not too close either. With that much distance, they should be able to keep track of it without losing sight of it, while also steering clear of possible surveillance from other Echoes.
The normal Echo, the size of a normal adult, flew in the air without a worry in the world. It bobbed up and down like a flying jellyfish, heading eastward and deeper inland.
