Deeper Inland
After a while of running, Yinuo found a destroyed town marked on the map Melody gave them. Combined with the yellow-orange light coming from the rising sun, it made for quite a somber scene.
The town was quite small, spanning about one kilometer from end to end, or at least that's what she could infer from what buildings and infrastructures remained.
Yinuo began searching for a big enough spot where the entire Doppel could be hidden and found one quite easily. A mall, or what used to be one, had quite wide hallways to fit the fifteen-meter-tall metal giant inside it.
After crawling her way in, Yinuo stopped at the main lobby, where the ceiling was high, giving her a perfect location to hide while making it possible for her to move and intercept enemies if they found their way in.
"This should be a good place," Yinuo muttered as she activated all the stealth functions of Quinlan's Doppel. "Now... System, where can I find this Chaos Core?"
