An unnamed, modified Federation 33rd generation standard-type mecha, left Base Six alone amidst the dust storm.

But it wasn't really alone. Seven elite mecha squads, including Xinghe Squad, a total of 92 mechs, kept a distance where they could support at any moment, circling in its vicinity.

And it does have a name.

Ji Xinghe did not name this mecha, but a codename is always required during an operation.

He didn't mind anyone calling him 'Ji', anyone at all. However, out of respect for an ace mecha warrior, apart from those familiar to him like Xinghe Squad, people were usually hesitant to directly call him 'Ji' or 'Ji Xinghe'.

Referring to him as Major Ji Xinghe was even more inappropriate, as everyone, including the Xinghe Squad, was unsatisfied with Ji Xinghe's current military rank. They felt Ji Xinghe should at least hold the rank of colonel and have a dedicated mecha built regardless of the cost.
