Meanie Me!

After signing in , Kiara close her eyes then her surrounding change. In an instant she is now sitting infront of an old table with a soup infront of her. " Kiara are you not eating your food again? " the voice of a woman said while sitting in her front, opposite of her. " Mom? " Kiara said because the lady who wears an old clothes and smiling kindly to her has the same face as her mother in her original world. And the man beside the woman is a man who have the same face as her father in her original world. Her mother who always wear brand new clothes and has a young face because she is always cared by the dermatologist has become a little older. She is only having a simple pony tail, wearing an old clothes ,no make up , her soft palms are now rough and her lips who always have lipstick is now in their natural colors. She is smiling kindly than her mother in her original world that have a strict look on her face. Her father who is always in his suit in her original world is now a man wearing an old t shirt and a pants that has a hole in it's knee. Her father who is always smiling at her in her original world cannot see Kiara eye to eye. " I am sorry that I did not make enough money today. The stall did not have much costumer today ." Her father said. " Kiara , remember be good. Be good.... this is not your real world. It is just the opposite of your real world! Your family is real rich! " Kiara thought. " I- I'm full!" Kiara said and stand up. " Where is my room? I want to sleep." Kiara ask. Her parent's look at each other in confusion. " Dear, are you sick? I told you to rest when you tired after tutoring . " her mother answer and worried. Then Kiara look at her surrounding, the old wood table and chairs infront of her. The small house that is made of wood and have a one room. They have only one cabinet as a furniture and their house is even smaller than her bathroom. " This isn't happening?! I just can't ---...." Kiara stand up and run towards the door going outside . She is running and running until she is tired.

" No. No. No.No." Kiara is holding her face. " Backing out is too late. You already have sign in. " Chicken appear infront of her. " They are my parents! They have the same face but--" Kiara is going hysterical. " I told you. In this mirror world, everything is opposite but identical. If you see yourself in the mirror, it seems identical but the truth is , it is opposite. " Chicken explain. " But how can I even do good? I don't know where to start?! Can I do this without money? I don't think I can! " she ask . Chicken roll its eyeballs. " Okay okay. That is why I am here to guide you . Why not start with making your parents happy? You did not even touch the food that they spent all their hardwork for. You know it is not easy to raise a spoil brat like you. " Chicken said. " I don't have any idea how to make my parents happy. In my world, they the one doing everything to make me happy. " Kiara insist. " Do you want to go back to your world or no? " Chicken is getting impatient. " Okay okay . I will go back now. "Kiara is now going back to their small house where her parents are worriedly waiting for her.

Kiara cannot see them eye to eye. Her mother hug her when she is at the door. " It's okay. We understand you. We know you are tired from tutoring just to get in the exclusive school you want . So I have a surprise for you. " Her mother give her a piece of paper. " Blue Blood Academy? " Kiara is reading the form . " This is the academy that I am attending in my original world! " Kiara thought. " I need to pass the exam for the scholarship?!" Kiara is in disbelief. Her mother nod and smile. " Considering that you have a good grades in your class,I believe you can do this! " her mother said very proud. " Me ? Have a good grades?" she ask while pointing at herself.

While her parents are sleeping , Kiara cannot sleep properly. She is reading again the paper while laying down. Kiara is pouting. " To think that I am not even attending the school of the rich. Just how poor I am in this world?! "Kiara is whispering. " You saw it by yourself, you are working for you to go to school and your parents cannot afford everything you want. " Chicken answer. " But what if I saw some of my friends here?! It is embarassing ! I am poor! " Kiara is being dramatic again. " I told you , this is the opposite of your world. The Kiara here in this world is diffirent from you who only thought of nothing . She is not popular here and no time to have friends. Don't worry you will find out tomorrow what I am talking about. If I were you , you need to rest , travelling in diffirent worlds is exhausting. " Chicken is lying beside Kiara and close its eyes. " But I am literally sleeping in thia hard floor. My back hurts! " Kiara thought while pouting.

Kiara did not have a hard time finding her way to her school because it ia only in the neighborhood. She is wearing her an old uniform , a bag that have a hole but is only knitted and she use a bicycle going to school.

She walk slowly and depressed in the corridor and no one even bother to greet her. She is unpopular and no friends. She sit down in a chair where chicken pointed. Kiara did not have a choice but to sit and keep quiet. " Kiara ,this is the payment for yesterdays tutor session. " one girl is smiling while giving her money. " I put extra just in case you need it to buy a lunch. " she said. " You pathetic loser ------" Kiara did not continue to continue her words bacause Chicken is there to stop her. " Just say thank you. " Chicken tell her, she is the only person who can see it. Kiara swallow her saliva and pretended to smile " Thank you. " she said. " Today again , right? Someone also will be with us. I will introduce you to your new student." then the girl blink and went away.

" That pathetic loser have the guts to give me money!!!! I am rich ! How come she insilult me with her little amount of money!!!" Kiara is losing control and kicking the big tree at the back of her school. " Kick. kick.kick." Chicken is just shaking it's head for her attitude. "With that money you can buy everything you want. " Chicken said. " Can I buy a big house with that? What will I buy with this little amount!?" Kiara ask and throw the money on the ground. " You are just upset because of your pride. Kiara , in this world there are things that you need to accept. You cannot die from swallowing your pride. And it is not that you begged for it, you work for it. " Chicken explain. Kiara is thinking. " Hmmm.... you are right! I work for this one! I will use it for good. Hmmm... Maybe I can buy a new branded bag? " Kiara said.

" This is Elena, my cousin. " the girl who Kiara is tutoring is introducing them both with each other. Elena did not even smile. The house of the girl who she always tutor have an average house atleast it is painted and have complete set inside the house. " She is attending the Blue Blood Academy. " the girl whisper to Kiara. " If only the teacher accepted the money I am giving just to pass me in one of my subject, I will not be here to be with you guys. " Elena said in dissappointment. " She lives in the city that is why she is like that. " Emy said, the girl whom she always tutored. Of course Kiara is not surprise, her whole life , she almost live in that academy because it is school for the rich. Blue Blood Academy, " Blue Blood" is a term use for royal blood, meaning only those who come from a rich family can enter it. " Oh cousin but I heard that there is a scholarship for this year, they are opening for those who cannot afford it as long as the grade is above the average. Oh I wish ! My brain cells cannot even achieve that. " Emy is dissappointed. " It is a donation from all the student in Blue Blood, they will choose a five lucky smart students to stay in Blue Blood until college. And it is free as long as the grade is beyond average from what I heard. " Elena said as her one eyebrow went up.
