God, Please Save Her

Flashback.

Austin had just come out of Catalina's room. When he turned around, he was surprised to see Alice, who was already behind him.

"Madam?"

"Is she awake?" Alice asked while glancing towards Catalina's bedroom door. In her right hand was a black map that she was carrying.

"She's awake. She just finished taking a shower and started her breakfast," Austin replied.

Alice didn't give any orders to Austin, letting the maid leave her. She was more interested in talking to her daughter.

Alice was in Catalina's room and saw her daughter sitting, on a chair, on a table by the window.

The red window blinds were left open, so Catalina could breathe in the fresh air and see the bright morning view.

"Mom? Would you like to have breakfast with me?" asked Catalina with a sweet smile even though her face looked pale.

Alice's gaze instead turned to Catalina's stomach. It was sad to see her daughter's health condition getting worse.
