CONNECTING MEMORIES

Roi were working in his office when he received a text from one of Gwen's friend.

"Roi Gege~~~ Something happened to Gwen." and that caused him to panicked

He immediately stops what he was doing and tell his secretary to cancel all of his appointments today and drive to HSU. He parked his car and walk to Gwen's Dormitory. He noticed that some of the girls are looking at him.

He opens the door to Gwen's room and you saw her sitting on her bed.

"Gwenyth Evans!" Roi said

"G-gege!! what are you doing here?" Gwen said

I'm sorry girl, but I guess your brother needs to know. Zoe said

So you really have no plans of telling me what happened! Roi said

Sorry~ I just know that you will react like this. Please don't tell Dad! Gwen said

Sure I won't because I know what will happen if I tell him what happens. Roi said

You don't know how worried I am Gwen!!! Roi said

I'm okay Gege--

Nothing really happened, so nothing to worry about, and I will make sure that this will never happen again. Look I even asked the school maintenance to add an additional lock in our room. Gwen said

"That doesn't change the fact that it already happened. I'm gonna have to talk to your school head." Roi said

Gege~~~

No, Gwen!!! you can't stop me! You know what, you have to come with me Roi said.

But Gege~~

Don't make me wait Gwen, or do you want me to tell everything to Dad! Roi said

Urgh!! Okay! Okay!! Wait for me outside. Gwen said

Roi gets out and Gwen immediately changes her clothes.

I'm sorry girl, we are just so worried and we thought that your brother should know. Zoe said

It's okay, I understand, At least Gege promised me that he won't let Dad know about this. For now, I really have to follow what my strict brother wants. Gwen said as she finishes changing her clothes.

Hey!! What are you wearing! Roi said as soon as he saw what you were wearing.

What's wrong with my clothes!! Gwen asked

"Everything is wrong Gwen!!! so get inside and change it!" Roi said

Urgh!!! Gwen said as she stomped back to her room.

Is this okay now?!! Gwen asked after she changed her clothes

"That's better!" Roi said as he pulled your hand

I've been wondering why they keep on staring at me, Gwen? Roi said as you were both walking in the hallway.

Because you are so handsome gege. Gwen said.

"Really?"

Do you think so? Do you think my charisma still works here? Roi asked

"Urgh!! Gege~stop, praising yourself." Gwen said

"Isn't that Roi Evans?" one of the students say

"Oh my god!! He really is handsome." the other one said

"See, I told you some of the students here still know me," Roi said

"I know!" Gwen said as he pulled Roi because the more that he's hearing compliments, the more he will brag out about him being handsome!

Roi's expression changes as soon as he enters the School Heads office. And the way he looks, you knew that even you can't stop whatever he wanted to say. He scolded the School Head and told him to prioritize the school safety, or else our family will have to pull out our share in this school. Gwen feels bad for the School Head because she saw how scared he is of what her brother said.

After meeting the School Head Gwen asked Roi to eat with you in the cafeteria. She notices that some of the students are still staring at your brother, and it’s funny how your brother loves all the attention. You saw Zarah and Zoe in the cafeteria and you asked them to join you too.

"I can't believe that Gege~ is still popular here at HSU." Zoe said

"I know right, girls are still drooling towards him!" Zarah said

"Somebody stop Zeke!" the student said

"Why what happened?" one of the students asked

"He is beating up someone, in front of Margaux!" the students said which made you stand up.

"But we can't stop him!! We are all afraid of him!" the other students said

"Where are they?" Gwen ask the student

"T-They are in the Thaddaeus Hall!" he said

Gwen stands up but Roi stopped her

"Where are you going, Gwen?" Roi asked you

I have to stop that Gege! you said

Haven't you heard what the other students say!! Roi said

I'm sorry Gege!! But I have to stop him since I m the president of Students Org. Gwen said as she runs to Thadeus Hall, so Roi has no choice but to follow his sister.

Gwen run to the hall and was shocked when she saw Zeke beating up someone in front of Margaux. Students are starting to gather up around them.

"W-what is going on with Zeke?" Zoe said

"Ohh my god!! He looks so scary!" one of the students said

"Somebody call our School Head!" the other student said

But everybody was more shocked when Zeke let go of the guy he was beating up and walk towards Margaux and he grabs her neck.

Gwen was about to run to them but Roi stopped her.

"Zeke stop it!" you saw Niccolo run to them but Zeke just pushed him away.

Gwen knew that she have to do something to stop Zeke and something inside her says that only she can do it. So she removes Roi’s hand and walks toward Zeke.

"Stop it, Zeke!" Gwen shouted that him

But he just looks at you and continues to choke Margaux.

"Hey!! Gwen gets away from him!" Roi shouted

But you don't know where your courage came that you walk towards Zeke and hold his hand.

"Stop it, Zeke." Gwen said in a low voice

"This person needs to be punished for what she did to you," Zeke said

"She and that man need to pay for what they did!" Zeke said

"I know~ but you don't have to do this; don’t let them stain your hand," Gwen said as she holds Zeke’s hand.

"You don't have to put the law in your hands," Gwen said and touches Zeke’s hand

Zeke let go of Margaux’s neck and she finally gasps her breath.

Everybody was amazed at how Gwen stopped Zeke.

"Whaaa~~~ I can't believe Zeke listens to Gwen."

Gwen holds Zeke’s hands and you saw that it bleeding. So you pulled him and walk towards your brother. I'm going to clean his hands at the clinic Gege, can you take care of them? Gwen said as she points out Margaux and the guy that is lying on the floor. He is the guy who entered our room, and Margaux is the one who ordered him to do it. Gwen said as they left.

"O-okay!" Roi said as he looks at Zeke.

As soon as Gwen leaves the hall, Roi took out his phone and called someone.

"Ahh!! It hurts!" Zeke said as you clean his fist.

So it hurts now?

Yet you don't feel any pain while you’re punching that guy? Gwen said as she continues to clean his fist

I did that for you if only you can see yourself that night. Zeke said

But you still shouldn't put the law in your hand. Gwen said as she now starts to put a bandage on Zeke’s hand

I'm thankful for what you did, but I am totally against what you did. People like that need to be punished, but not by beating up. Don't you dare do that again? Gwen said

Zeke is staring at Gwen whose busy nagging at you while cleaning your hands. She used to do this to you before. The nagging while cleaning your injuries. I can't believe that her words still affect me that much. His mind went blank when the man said that it was Margaux who ordered him to do that to Gwen. He really lost my mind a while ago. All that is running into my mind was to take revenge for what they did to Gwen. You really can't hear anything, when all of a sudden you hear Gwen’s voice. When she touches your hand, your mind calms down. You were ready to kill anyone that time but Gwen takes all of your anger away. That is how she affects you. I wish I could hold her hand the way I do before.

How long will it takes till my Mint remembers me? Zeke said to himself

"Hey!!! Are you even listening to me!" Gwen said that brought your mind into reality.

I do!! Zeke answered without looking at her

"Okay!! It’s done!" Gwen said

Zeke was about to say something when Roi entered the clinic.

How was he? Roi asked Gwen while staring at Zeke

Gwen doesn't know why she felt the awkward feeling between Roi and Zeke

I already cleaned his hand and put bandages on it. Gwen said

What did you do Gege?

I already took care of it. Roi said

Okay!!

Thank you again for saving my sister O’Connel. Roi said

I-Its nothing~~ Zeke said

Okay~~ I'll take my sister now, I have to discuss something with her. Roi said as he pulled Gwen

Are you friends with him? Roi asked Gwen as they walk into the lobby.

Who? Zeke?

Yes..

I can't say that we're friends, but after saving my life, I guess I consider him a friend. Gwen said

Aren't you scared of him?

Why would I be scared of him?

Well, I heard that all of the students here are scared of him, I even think he's a dangerous man. Roi said

Well at first I was really scared of him, but as I get to him more don't think he was dangerous. I must admit that he's kind of a jerk sometimes, but I don't find him scary. As a matter of fact, I think he’s lonely. Gwen said

Since when did you become a fortune teller Gwen. Roi said as he taps Gwen’s head.

I have to go back to the office now, so listen to me Gwen, if something happened call me. You haven't changed your number 1 speed dial right? Roi said

Yes, I promise!! And of course, you're still my number 1 speed dial! Gwen said

Bye!! Take care!! Roi said as he hugged you before he gets in his car.

Bye!!!! Gwen waved at her brother before she goes back to her dorm

Whaaaa!!! I can't believe you really stopped Zeke Gwen!! Zoe said the moment that you enter the room.

Me too!!! How did you do that girl? Aren't you scared of Zeke? Zarah said

Know what. I don't have any idea why did I do that, It really feels like I already did that before. Gwen said

Urgh!! I don’t know! I want to forget everything that happened last night and today!! Gwen said as she jumps on her bed.

Okay!! If you say so. Zoe said

You were about to go to the bathroom when you all hear a knock on the door. So Zoe opened the door.

Wow!! Look who's here!! Zoe said

Why? who's that girl? Zarah said as she looks who was outside.

You really have the courage to come here after what you did!! Zarah said

What's going on there girls as you come to the door, there you saw Margaux.

What are you doing here? Gwen asked her with a blank expression

"Can I talk to you?"

We have nothing to talk about Margaux so leave! Gwen said

But what Margaux did shocked the three of you. She knelt in front of you and cried.

I'm so sorry!! I know it’s too late and I know that my apologies are not enough but please my family has nothing to do with it. Please I'm begging you, Gwen! Margaux said

Stand up, Margaux. Gwen said

After what you did to me, I don't think I can forgive you that easily. And I don't think I can change my brother’s decision. But I will try to talk to him. You can leave now. Gwen said as she enters the bathroom.

Gwen wakes up!!

Gwen keeps on hearing that voice so you opened your eyes.

You are having this strange dream again.

And there again you saw your younger version and the guy who you always call Ice, the only difference is you were a little younger this time.

So since you saved my life, you are now my friend!! you said to Ice

Okay!! How did you end up at this place then? Ice asked you

Hmm. I walk away from home. you said

How about you? Are you a beggar? you said

How can you be so judgemental? Ice said and laugh

Those guys that are bothering you a while ago, are gangsters.

I don't know, I do fight with them sometimes, I guess you can call me a gangster. Ice said

You should stop joining those gang wars you know. It’s dangerous. you said

It is dangerous but I can always fight them all, I'm the best you know Ice said.

You know what it’s getting late, come I'll take you home, pretty girls like you shouldn't be walking alone on the streets. Ice said

So this is where you live? Ice said as you stopped in front of your house.

Yeah~~ how about you? you asked Ice

I live a few streets away from here. Ice said
