Chapter 485

The Demons and the Elves continue their battles and more blood painted the ground.

"We have to keep them at bay!!"

It was fortunate that the Demons that attacks their kingdom were Duke at best. 

The Demons prioritize the mission of assassinating the Saintess. Destroying the World Tree was just a side quest. The World Tree was still young and they understood that it would not be an immediate danger. 

Still, a threat is a threat, so the Demon Lords send their forces to destroy the kingdom and end the World Tree in the process. 

However, they did not expect the Elves to be prepared. Now, the Demons were being pushed back. 

"Damn it! I thought we have a spy in this kingdom!?"

"She is probably dead. I heard that she was a princess, but I think someone found that she was a traitor and killed her."

"Understandable, have a nice day!"

The sky was filled with elemental Skills flying around. 

Princess Belle looked around and she narrowed her eyes when she sensed something. 

'I guess they decided to sneak in.'

"Elder Seigh, follow me."

"As you wish your Highness!!"

Elder Seigh had horns on his forehead, making it obvious that he changed. But the loyalty and trust that were built were never easy to topple. 

The Elves trust the Princess and the Elders. They did not know the reason why they became Demons, but the Elves put their lives into this battle. Perhaps somewhere in their hearts, they understood that to defeat the Demons, they have to become Demons too. 

Suddenly, the idea of being a Demon was not bad. 

Elder Seigh sensed that a dozen of Demons infiltrated their holy garden. He raised hundreds of water bullets and started shooting them. 

"Guah!"

"Oh fuck!"

"We were so close!"

The Demons were ready to destroy the World Tree but Princess Belle perceived their movement and eliminated them. 

The Demons tried to kill her, but with her weapon and ability, it was impossible to reach her. She had the best defense and offense. 

Furthermore...

"Elder Seigh, give me a minute and I will reinforce our army."

"Yes!"

Princess Belle closed her eyes. With the ruby as her catalyst, she cast a wide buff Skill that enhanced the Elves and the Hunters. 

They were enveloped by the wind that protects them and increases their speed. Their morale raises and they attacked with vigor causing the Demons to falter. 

Princess Belle glanced at the World Tree. In this close distance, Princess Belle was like a normal Elf and she didn't emit corruption. Except for her demonic appearance, she seemed like a simple Elf. 

"Unfortunately, it can't erase my urge to destroy it."

She shook her head. Her natural instinct was to destroy the tree that stopped her corruption. Still, she had control over her mind and body.

The World Tree could erase the scent but it could never erase the insanity.  

"As time goes on, the World Tree's power will increase and this kingdom will be safe."

That's why she must protect it... Because she has a plan to use its seed. Well, that would be a few hundred years from now. Princess Belle was just preparing. 

"Here, let me make you grow faster."

Princess Belle stabbed the trident to the ground and the World Tree starts absorbing the water that it creates. She wanted to fatten the tree faster. 

A few hours passed and the battle subsided. The Demons failed and they decided to retreat. The Elves had a few casualties. It was better than they expected. The Princess' plan was effective and it eliminated the danger.

"Tch, you should have told me that you are going to fight them."

Mikael was sulking as he looked down at the Elven Kingdom. This was his first time visiting this place. Compared to the Beastmen Kingdom, the Elven Kingdom has this relaxing atmosphere that makes everything peaceful. 

"I handle it easily so you don't have to worry."

Princess Belle chuckled and passed him a bottle of coke. This drink was something she didn't like but she started drinking it after becoming a Demon. Let's just say that Mikael preached the greatness of this drink. 

They like drinking the original version, the one with cocaine in it.

"Still..."

"Hey, don't make me feel out of place!"

Furrneka growled at them. This room was wide and adorned by gold. But for some reason, Furrneka did not like it. 

"So, where do you want to take me this time?"

Three days already passed after the battle in Cavite and the Elven Kingdom. Now that everything returned to normal, Mikael visited this place and met Princess Belle. Of course, he did not forget his promise to get a taste of her booty. 

Princess Belle started wearing a white dress. She turned around and smiled mischievously. She put her finger on her lips. 

"It's a secret."

"Okay."

Mikael easily agreed. And Furrneka was just clicking her tongue in the corner and started wearing a dress as well. They just finished an hour of lovemaking and Princess Belle said that she wanted to take them to a place. 

"This is a surprise that you will love."

"Is it a RTX 4090?"

He tilted his head. 

"What? No, it's much better than that."

She shook her head. She didn't have enough knowledge about computers. 

"Ah! Is it a human-sized figurine of Speedwagon?"

"What? No, and I think old Joseph Joestar is far better."

"Don't you dare look down on Speedwagon! He is the best girl."

"... What the fuck?"

Furrneka was dumbfounded. She could not understand what they were talking about, again, she felt left out of the conversation. She jumped on Mikael and bit his shoulder just to get his attention.
