He was in a deep panic after discovering something unusual behind the trees. As he said, everyone looked toward the tree in fear, and when they realized the situation, they ran in the opposite direction except Jaena, who was sitting on the ground while her twin brother Jaebin lay half unconscious on her lap. Jaena looked toward the tree and saw that some unusual creature was peeking innocently from behind the tree. "Don't come near—don't come near, please," Jaena said with fear as she saw that thing slowly start coming toward her. When Maya saw her trembling body, she became sad, but without saying anything, she reassured Jaena with her eyes as if they were saying, "I won't hurt you; please trust me."

Caught in the Glow

Her hair, which had been still unruly and chaotic, but was now far better than before, came under a little better control as she continued to train herself to harness her power.

If she wanted to eat fruits from trees, her hair read her mind before she said, and pluck them off from the tree for her. If she wanted to swing, she made one out of her hair.

The length of her hair had been changing all the time, according to how far or near, she was to the object she desired to pick up. Then, they returned to their original length of 6 feet after every mission.

Regardless of how many times she had a chance to witness it, it always piqued her interest.

Although she frequently cried when she thought of her family, by this point, she had become so strong that she knew how to live and had come to accept this life as her fate.

Even though she was conscious of how miserable her family back at home must be, she was compelled to remain there and relive her memories and moments with them.

Additionally, she was always aware of an invisible force around her. She was aware of that aura or force watching her. And things were all the same for Minizs as when she first met them.

But something started to happen that Maya wasn't aware of. Hikers started saying to have seen a white witch in the forest, who can kill anyone if she ever comes across and will devour their flesh. The witch has long white hair and appears extremely scary.

However, because these rumors were so widespread, relatively few people actually paid attention to them, and the majority assumed they were making up their own stories.

Maya was now named as ‘White Witch’.

Many visitors started coming to the forest only to take a glimpse of her.

Maya observed that they were actually looking for something and not here for a hike, so she started taking measures to restrict their sight of herself as a consequence.

After not finding the 'White Witch' they went back to inform everyone in the village that there was no witch living there, and that the tales are untrue.

A young man decided to investigate the "White Witch" on his own one day after hearing several rumors about her from outsiders in that area.

He reached the entrance of the woodland with a camera in his hand in order to record everything and show the world whether or not it was all genuine.

As he got closer, he overheard some weird music—a tune that rendered him speechless and gave him shivers.

He had heard about the music before from the villager that they listened to that haunting music every night, but hearing it in person, gave him the shivers and made him frightened.

However, because he had already made it this far, he decided to go check it out.

As he entered the forest, he began to follow the music because he knew the white witch was the source of the music.

On the other side, Maya was so immersed in her own world that she failed to see that someone was close to her and that the situation was quite dangerous.

As he drew nearer to her, the man began to see a glow, a very bright glow emanating from near the largest tree.

He began to sweat profusely hard, his heart began to race, and his body started trembling because he had finally caught sight of Maya from behind her as she sat on a large boulder facing the tree and sang a really magnificent and eerie song.

He shakily approached his camera to his face and started snapping pictures, but as he was behind her, so the pictures only captured her back.

He was overjoyed to have the proof, to be able to persuade everyone that the "White Witch" exists, and to use it to make some money online.

Will it have an impact on Maya? Is she at risk? Nobody knew, including her.

(Somewhere in the that country)

"Why are you coming late for the class,” the teacher asked, wearing an intense look.

Jaena, who was standing next to Minho at the front door of class, suddenly pointed toward Minho and answered innocently, "Umm..., sorry sir, just because of him, I'm late."

Everyone in the class shook their heads in disappointment as they all turned to face the two fools who were perpetually late.

Minho was perplexed by her friend's accusation.

“N- No..!" He said while also making a naive expression, "Sir, she is lying, she is one."

When the teacher found that they were both blaming one another, he hushed them and urged them to shut the hell up and sit down in their seats. He was also tired of them.

"The plan worked!" Jaena whispered and winked at Minho secretly as they both hurried to their seats.

“Always,” Minho added with a mischievous smile plastered on his face.

Jaena was a 5'5", stunning girl in her early twenties with black hair that was of medium length.

Minho had soft features, a scissor haircut, and was a charming, pale, tall, rich boy. He also appeared to be a bit cocky.

Both Jaena and Minho are popular figures in the class who were fun to be around.

The moment Jaena and Minho entered class after being late for thirty minutes, Jaebin, Jaena's twin brother, rolled his eyes as he witnessed their strategy.

His sister and her best friend Minho were quite jovial people. All three of them were of the same age.

Jaena was a very carefree, sociable, and upbeat kind of person, but her brother was a very sober, reserved, and tranquil man. The personality of the two twin sibling was totally dissimilar.

Jaebin wasn't a nerd, but he was brilliant in academics and was a tall, incredibly athletic man.

He was a young man with deep hazel brown eyes, very light tan skin, sharp features, and a long black bro flow haircut. He radiated a lot of charisma.

Many girls had genuine feelings for him but were powerless to act since they knew they would be rejected by him if they ever went to him and ask for a romantic relationship.

He did not want to be the center of attention and hated it.

“How come you two are so slothful? Why can't you guys come over here earlier?" Jaebin stated with a straight face as they all exited the classroom after their class.

Minho replied without serious effort as he looked at the phone, "We arrived late because we didn't want to get bored in the morning.”

"Why do you seem worried? Jaebin," Jaena laughed.

"Why do you both keep forgetting that this is your last year," Jaebin shook his head in dismay. "All I want is for you two to succeed."

Jaena giggled, one hand covering her mouth as if trying to stop herself from laughing aloud, and her other hand was pointing toward Jaebin's bag. She said, "Worry about yourself Jaebin, the girl who was sitting behind you, was putting letters in your bag, check your bag."

"Yeah, yeah, I watched her putting those letters, shyly," Minho began to tease. "Also, dude! She looked at you like you were her prince charming."

“What!” Jaebin stopped, seemingly frozen in place, and remained still. “Check!” Jaena remarked as she attempted to take his bag off his shoulder. "What are those ‘love letters’ saying? Can I read them?”

When Jaebin, at last, comprehended what was happening, he said fiercely in a low voice, "None of your business," and pulled a few letters out of his bag.

The two best friends laughed hysterically as they saw Jaebin's scorching red face and exclaimed, "Aww..., someone's turning into a tomato."

Jaebin glared at them sharply.

"Why, dude? Why are you annoyed with her? All men adore her in our campus," Near his ear, Minho began to whisper.

"I don't like this kind of girl, Jaebin declared sincerely as he opened one of the messages.

Minho offered, showing off his ability, “So, who do you like? I'll introduce you to more of the types of women you like if you let me know which ones.”

Jaebin said, “I don't know, I never fall in love with someone yet, I never discovered the girl of my dreams, and I don't even know if that kind of person ever existed in his world or not,” with a relaxed look and a little, barely perceptible smile.

“Haha! Why not introduce fairies?” Smiling Jaena commented with a wink.

Jaebin muttered half-jokingly, “Maybe."

Jaebin received a call from his best friend Daehyun as they were moving toward the other class.

Daehyun said, “Hey, Jaebin, I have some news for you. Are Jaena and Minho with you?”

Jaebin asked, “Yes, what news?”

“Ok! I'll tell you guys, soon, so meet me at ‘Sunset Coffee shop’, bye!” Daehyun cut the call off.

“What sort of news does your boyfriend want to share with us?” Minho enquired.

Jaena shrugged her shoulders. She walked away from them when heard that it was Daehyun on the other side and replied, “I don't know... he didn't tell me anything.”
