Old Chang Xin

The next day, at the school, teachers had a meeting with the principal office. So each class monitor had been monitoring their classes to make the whole school noise-free.

The interval bell rang, and everyone ran out like unleashed happy dogs.

"How is your hand now?" Geng Xi asked.

"Fine," Chang Xin replied shortly, and he left the classroom with Fanqia.

Before the interval bell ended, Chang Xin whispered something in Fanqia's ear and excitedly bounced with a sparkling smile while they were on the way to their classroom after the restroom.

Fanqia was stunned. "What? Ki-"

Chang Xi ran back and covered her mouth before Fanqia shouted in surprise. "Shhh!!!" Chang Xi hushed, giving a checking stare at the surroundings where students were heading to their classes passing them.

Since she was excited, her Irish failed to locate the two boys standing in the side of the verandah and deliberately acted like looking aside.

"Did you two kiss each other?" Fanqia couldn't believe it.

"Yes." Chang Xin proudly nodded before continuing to walk.

Fanqia rushed to her, grasping her arms. She asked in a lower voice, "Did he or did you force him?"

Chang Xin hauled out the frown and said, "He did!"

Suddenly, two boys bumped into Fanqia and Chang Xin's arms, causing them to stumble with the walk.

Fanqia and Chang Xin both veered around and gave a death stare.

"Sorry." Those two boys apologised, bowing. So they let it aside and decided to continue on their way.

On the spur of the moment, Fanqia heard one of the boys dictating, "Hey, hers is big and soft and smooth. It was nice to bump into hers."

Instantly, Fanqia veered around to them as Chang Xin blabbed about her yesterday romance herself.

"Hoi!!" Fanqia sounded. Both boys turned and looked at her.

"What did you mention now?" She asked, pointing out the boy who bumped into Chang Xin.

That boy pointed out himself with a dubious look on his face, as if he had no idea what Fanqia was talking about.

"Yes, You!" Fanqia went to him and stood courageously with a furious face. Chang Xin came to her and asked Fanqia, "What's wrong, Fanqia? They said sorry already. It's okay."

Fanqia dodged Chang Xin's hand and seethed a frown at that boy.

"He didn't say anything," another boy certified.

"Yes," that boy nodded.

Fanqia slapped him without a second consideration earning an instant enraged face from them as Chang Xin froze for a moment and breathed out.

"How dare you!" That boy raised his hand to return the slap.

Chang Xin became aware and was about to block his hand.

"Hey!" Geng Xi and Suillin came running from the other end of the verandah and soon after spotted Chang Xin and Fanqia.

Before his hand got a touch of Fanqia, a strong, muscular hand grasped it and earned everyone's glimpse within a second.

Chang Xin saw that it was Krish.

"Come to the staff room!" He dragged both boys with him and stopped right there, as if he had missed something.

He looked at Chang Xin and commented, "Come with me," while Geng Xi and Suillin reached to them, huffing and buffing, before asking Fanqia, "Are you okay?"

Geng Xin gripped Chang Xin's hand tightly and opposed, "Why? Why Chang Xin? She didn't do anything."

"Are you going to come or not?" Krish asked and was steady with his firm.

Chang Xin looked at Fanqia, causing Krish's look to switch to her, and she didn't express even a little bit of attention to Geng Xi, who was trying to control her just by tightening his grip.

Sensing Krish's eye on her, she encountered a sudden, brief shudder. So she instantly pinched Geng Xi's hand, causing him to scream shortly, "Ah!"

She then shoved Chang Xin and informed him, "He used vulgar words on Chang Xin, sir."

Krish then dragged those boys to the staff room as Chang Xin followed him without having any choice.

"Hey, Fanqia!" Suillin called, running after her as Geng Xi felt disappointed with looking at Chang Xin following Krish without any opposition.

"Write an apology letter!" Krish ordered, bringing Chang Xin out of the counselling room as both boys blinked with bewildered looks on their faces.

"Where are you bringing me to?" Chang Xin asked.

"I should teach you about bad touch," he declared, opening the private room door wide for her.

"Bad touch?" She queried him back instead of getting inside.

He nodded. "To learn that, you should get inside first." He instructed her, heading inside.

As her mind hung between confusion and fear, she stammered just by standing right there without stepping in, "But this is a private room. Are you going to beat me?"

Hearing her innocent, shaded voice, Krish looked at her and stopped browsing the computer. He gave a two-minute pessimistic look directly at her, triggering her anxiety more. Thereafter, he straightened up himself and asked, "Where is Chang Xin?"

She was like, "Huh?"

"Chang Xin,"

"Yes," she responded shortly.

"I'm asking for bold Chang Xin. Not an innocent one," Krish dictated, crossing his hands across his chest and additionally allotting a questionable raised eyebrow.

Not to delay, Chang Xin's sharp eye came into sight with a helpless sigh. She then stepped in and locked the door as he was standing right there, fixing his eyes on her.

She turned around to him and came to him. Standing in front of him, she vehemently stared at the ground instead of facing his face.

Krish lowered his head to see her downward face before asking, "It's because of that lady?"

"What's the point of being valiant since I don't have a wealthy background?"

He could groped her depression just by hearing her lifeless mumble. He then pulled his head up straight and instructed,

"Look at me!"

She stayed like that until his index finger came under her chin and she lifted it to face him.

Once her looking down Irish met him, he advised her, "Feeling confident and being a justice person is not about financial well-being. It's all about what kind of heart we have." Sparing her some seconds to digest his words, furthermore, after witnessing little sparks of confidence in her eyes, he asked,

"Do you understand?”
