"Is that... Luna's poetry collection?"
Lucky for us, Lucas is well-known enough that this last collection of poems written by Edward's mother before her passing is quite famous. Many from the wolf clans have read this book.
"What do you mean?" Lucas initially looked puzzled, then he stated eyeing Edward warily, seeing confused about what his son was up to.
I snorted in disdain. This jerk Lucas doesn't grasp the deeper meaning of the poetry collection. He never really cared about Edward or his mother.
Edward, now facing his father again, remained calm and didn't engage with him. Instead, he turns to the others, "This is the last poetry collection my mother left behind before her death. It seems ordinary at a glance, but..."
I can see Lucas' expression change, as if he stopped breathing, his eyes fixating on Edward.
