CHAPTER 42 Daisy's Plan
Aurora's POV
Edsel and I were walking slowly on the road, as he was excited to see the scenery and the city centre of the mainland. As we were passing a small forest that Edsel was examining, a pack of wolves came storming out of it.
It was different from last time. There was an obvious leader this time. The wolf leading the pack had brown fur, purple eyes, and a small scar on his nose. If you didn't look closely, you might not notice it, but I recognised it in a single glance.
It was him! John Hall!
John was Henry's Beta and Daisy's brother. Although I was Henry's fiancee before, I rarely saw him. He always appeared and disappeared mysteriously and always kept his head low. If I didn't have a good memory, I probably wouldn't have recognised the scar.
It seemed that the person who sent the wolf pack to attack me was either Henry or Daisy or maybe even both of them. However, I still couldn't figure out why they hadn't let me go and in fact, even wanted to kill me.
