CHAPTER 16 The Response

　　Edward's POV

　　I sipped my coffee while looking over at Aurora. Her face was serious but somehow not angry.

　　Spreading rumours about impure bloodlines is a low-threat insult, after all it's easily disproved with a DNA test. However, this rumour had its own DNA test directly below the news. The report showed that Aurora and her father were not related by blood. Both of their names were shown in full at the top of the report.

　　A fake DNA test is usually very easy for me to spot. Although I hadn't fully checked this one it looked to be real.

　　Along with Auror not being able to awaken her wolf, the rumour seemed even more believable.

　　"Do you need any help, my love?"

　　She was much calmer than I imagined she would have been. Today, she was wearing jeans and a T-shirt, much more relaxed than the last time I saw her. She looked casual and charming, the serious look on her face only added to that charm.
