Dinner Time

Later in the day, Rose found herself alone again. Maybe Kieran was doing this on purpose to make her feel like he didn't want her. The thought made her sad.

A light knock on the door broke her out of her melancholy thoughts. She looked up and found herself staring at a strikingly beautiful girl.

"Hi," she said shyly.

Rose stared at her. She had long red hair, a similar color to Sophia, and piercing blue eyes. Her facial features were delicate and soft. "Who are you?" Rose asked.

"I'm Misty. I am Kieran, Declan and Leo's sister," she said.

Rose brightened. "Oh, really?" She suddenly felt a bit better. Misty seemed sweet.

"Yes. Sorry, I didn't come to meet you earlier. You seemed too preoccupied with everything and I'm…I'm kind of shy," Misty said, a small smile playing on her lips.

"It's okay," Rose said. She eyed the dress in Misty's hand. "What's that?"
