SUZIE’S POV
I parried the sword that clashed against mine, shifting the weight of it, causing the sword to fall to the ground. With a grin on my lips I placed a hand on my waist, grinning at my opponent.
“Is that all you’ve got Edward? You know I do remember how I never won any sparring matches we’ve had. Look at how times have changed,” I giggled.
Edward scoffed, wiping sweat away from his brows. “You are speaking as if you’ve won already. The match is just beginning, your majesty.”
With swift and calculated movements, Edward sword was back in his hand in a split second. He charged at me, not in a rushed manner. I held my sword out in front of me, ready to counter his slash. As he reached a close proximity to me, in an instant, he disappeared from my eyes.
