SUZIE’S POV
The carriage buckled underneath me as it rode down the bumpy road. I rested my elbow on the window, my chin in my hand as I stared out of the window. The trees that whipped by caught my eyes, but my mind kept wandering elsewhere, making me unable to enjoy the scenery.
My mind was filled with Olivia and the last interaction we had. The words she told me was stuck in my head and I could not understand why she would say such a thing to me. She was well aware that Elliot was my brother, so why would she tell me to stay away from me?
But one thing was sure, she was an obsessive psychopath that refused to allow any other woman near Elliot, even though it was his mother or sister. It all was making sense to me now. The reason why she was so cold and hostile to me was because of her jealous and possessive nature.
