Chapter 68 The Great Escape
King Blake quickly opened the car door and said, "No time to waste, get in the car. " Hailee immediately got in and King Blake explained what had happened to her on the way.
"What? That's impossible! My phone ran out of battery and shut down; I didn't answer any calls. " Hailee was shocked and took out her phone.
King Blake clenched his fists. He had received a call from Rory during a meeting earlier that afternoon, but she didn't say anything when he answered. First, he had thought it was a wrong number, but thankfully he didn't hang up and eventually heard the most crucial part of the conversation. He immediately had Hunter investigate all of Olivia Taylor's information and the license plate number of the car.
After reviewing the surveillance footage, he realized Rory had been deceived.
