In the next few days, Rory had been investigating that matter at home.
As soon as she stepped into Mrs. Green's house, Mrs. Green looked at Rory warily and asked her son to go back to his room as soon as possible.
"Ms. Lane, you're here." She was more wary of Rory's arrival.
Rory looked around the living room. There were two suitcases, which seemed to have been in the process of packing up.
"I'm cleaning up the room. It's too messy." Seeing her gaze, Mrs. Green quickly blocked her sight.
"Cleaning up the room? Then why put all the clothes in the suitcase?" Rory asked. She saw through her at a glance.
"Ms. Lane, I want to take my son back. My son has grown up and has to go to school. I'm worried that it's not safe in Miami. I want to move to a nearby town, it's a little remote to the big city, but there is not so much going on there,’’ Mrs. Green no longer hid and looked at Rory with tears.
