Chapter 144 Hospitalized

When King Blake woke up again, he found himself lying on the hospital bed. He struggled to lift his head and saw that his right leg was bandaged. Hunter was sitting beside him, he was typing rapidly on his phone.

"Awake?"

King Blake coughed twice. "What about Rory?"

"Don't worry," Hunter replied, "Rory only had some minor injuries and didn't need to stay in the hospital."

King Blake breathed a sigh of relief. "Did you tell my grandfather?"

He remembered seeing his grandfather's missed call before he lost consciousness, but his phone had run out of battery.

Hunter nodded. "I told everyone. I told King Joe that you only had some minor injuries that it is nothing to worry about."

"Did Rory go home?" King Blake asked, his expression complicated. "When did she leave?"

Hunter's face twitched. "Rory stayed with you for a long time and only left an hour ago."
