Chapter 86

Despite knowing the answer to why Luke didn't show up, Ellaand Lucas still were mad that he hadn't taken the time to check on Ellaafter the situation with Noah. And that was one thing Luke had no explanation for.

"How long do you think it will be until our family finds out?" Ella asked, her fingers intertwined with Lucas's.

Lucas glanced from the wheel over to Ella. "I think the pack will find out sooner."

The pack was coming to terms with Lucas leading the pack. After having everybody situated with a roof on top of their heads and a source of money, things started to look up. Lucas insisted Sundays was their "pack" day. The whole pack would meet up and talk about important things, eat a rather large dinner together and then it was off to their homes again.
