Chapter 46

"A pregnancy isn't putting me in danger Lucas!" Ella raised her voice slightly, pushing his hands off of her.

Lucas didn't try to hold her back. He knew if he did, he could possibly hurt her with his strength and that was not something he wanted to do again. "You're human Ella. I can't expect you to carry my children in you for seven months . You wouldn't be strong enough to go through the whole pregnancy."

Ella stepped out of the tub, pulled a towel from the rack and covered herself. "I'm your mate Lucas. I think I'm capable of carrying our children in my womb."

Lucas looked away from his mate, who was close to tears. "It's too dangerous Ella." Lucas began, while stepping out of the tub too. "Caroline almost died giving birth to me. She only survived because of the royal blood running through her veins."
