Gideon chanted a spell as soon as they entered the dark cave, and small strings of light appeared on the walls in front of them, lighting up their path as they walked. His ears remained alert, listening for any sound around them. 

He knew there were witches in there, as multiple heartbeats echoed in his ears from the other side of the mountain. They were faint, but he could still hear them. Thankfully, there weren't too many activities happening on the side they were approaching from.

Salma stayed close to him, holding onto his hand firmly as they walked. 

"This orb, you know what it looks like and exactly where to find it?" Gideon questioned, his voice lower than it was when they were still outside.
