Chains

As they walked through the town, Connie saw some group of people gathered in the center of the town, they had stalls and they were selling different kind of things. The town people surrounded them, patronizing them.

Constanza stopped a passerby.

"Excuse me ma'am, but who are those people and what are they selling?" she asked.

"Those are witches, they pass through here once in a while to sell enchanted items" the passerby replied.

Killian tensed at the mention of witches and squeezed Constanza's hand nervously. She used her other hand to pat him reassuringly.

"witches? I thought Lookjun was a human town?" Constanza asked.

The passerby looked at her strangely.

"Are you a stranger?" she asked Constanza.

"Uhm, yes we are just passing through." she replied tentatively.
