A good friend

"Come on Ryder, don't think like that. Lavender is just being a good friend, I don't think he likes her that way." Ava tried to dissuade Ryder.

"Come on Ava, I think she is his mate and he doesn't want to tell us till they get to know each other." Ryder insisted.

"I have something to do." Jayden said hurriedly and left.

Ryder looked at him as he left in confusion. "Whats wrong with him?" he asked Ava.

"I have no idea." Ava answered.

Claudia came up to them, "Greetings Alpha and Luna." she said respectfully.

"How are you doing Claudia?" Ryder asked.

"I am doing okay, I just wanted to say thanks for honoring my request." Claudia said.

"It's okay, I am glad I could be of help. Besides, Lavender wants you here and he vouched for you." Ryder replied.

"That's very nice of him, I should thank him later." Claudia said with a sweet smile.
