RESCUED BUT CAPTURED AGAIN

"Don't try any kind of play." One of his Betas says, moving near mum. He lifts up her head, and shuts his eyes as he brings his lips near hers. I raise my hand to slap him but mum blocks it and spits at the man's face.

"Collins, what did you want to do?" Jude frowns at him.

"Nothing, Master." He shivers, and bows his head.

"Take Isabella and Sophia back to the pack." He tells the other six betas. "And mindlink me if there is any problem."

"Alright, Boss." They echo in their hoarse voice. Two of them lift Isabella up as they cast her arms around their shoulders. They both grab her by her waist and there they go, into the wilderness. I can't believe my eyes. I stare at Dad, he's dead! Just like that?

"Dad isn't breathing." I mutter, not aware that one of the Betas has bent down to check up on me.

"Don't worry, Princess. I'll save you." He whispers as meticulously silent as ever.

Then I stare at him blankly. He tries to pinch the nape of my neck but Jude stops him.
