Chapter 16 - Accident in the Party

"Hey Katherine, what happened? Are you alright?" Liza inquires again and taps Katherine again.

Katherine blushed when she snapped out of her day dream, she said, "So... Sorry I just... I was just distracted by that food server." Katherine creates an alibi to escape her current predicament. 

"I thought you're gonna ask me a question? On with it before Amelia see's you here with us and makes us her next target again." Katherine acted tough to recover from her embarrassment a little while ago.

Liza just stood beside Katherine, trying her very best not to laugh at the current charade her friend is doing.

"Ahhh.. Right, right, I just want to ask you both if you can come to the party at Amelia's house, she's throwing a Thanksgiving party." Asked Gerard.

"At the Mayor's house? Are you kidding, of course we're coming right Katherine? Will the Mayor appear at the party?" Liza almost jumped in excitement, because she's a longtime fan of the City Mayor.
